hi, im trying to build a gaming box using a cheap android box with libreelec and IARL, but im finding the artwork that it is populating after building up a few systems amounts to alot of gigs, when backing the build up, to the point of not being able to restore the backup on my 8 gig box because of lack of space, is there anyway of shrinking the arkwork to take up less space?

A clean installation will eat up 512MB system and some 0.5-1GB of storage files.
What's the rest for on your 8GB box?

artwork, boxart, fanart, i have tried to unzip the tar backup and run the images through a resizer program zip it back up and restore, but no luck.

advancedsettings.xml - Official Kodi Wiki
there you can trim down the fanart etc, but only applies to new added stuff

ive used the build on a 16gig sd card aswell, but after ive cached all the artwork, it fills up 10 gig just for that before even putting roms on it,

I would say, its okay enough but saves a lot space.
