Cannot log into LibreELEC using Putty

I have been trying to log into LibreElec on my Wetek Play2 using Putty but I keep getting Network error connection refused.

Its the latest Putty (v7) on a windows 10 machine, SSH is enabled in LirbreELEC.

I have tried turning off my Anti VIrus without success.

I can ping to it ok.

I have done this before but not in the latest 8.2.3 which I have just installed (works fine)

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be

Clear the cached keys for PuTTY?

Well I cleared out the cached keys but still the same unfortunatly.

Any suggestions as to what to try next please.

I had a similar problem, I finally installed the Backup addon then set it up to backup addons etc [you choose] everything to a usb drive in a folder called backup...

Then did a backup [using the ADDON] to the usb drive...

Then removed SD wrote 8.2.3 image to SD , put back into Pi and booted .... and did initial setup.......tested putty

Then Installed Backup Addon again -- and setup to use the usb drive I previously backed up to...

Rebooted Pi then did a Restore from the usb drive

Rebooted again and all was well.....

Sounds like a long process, but not really.....
