LE support for bolt-on realtime clock on RPi3?

Hi, all,

I'm about to order some parts from Ebay and came across this realtime clock for the RPi. A quick look-around on Google suggests that this should work provided the kernel has the right modules loaded and/or other support for an RTC connected to the GPIO connector.

Would LE currently support this?

Thank you for responding! I've seen that PDF. It says:

You'll also need to set up i2c on your Pi, to do so, run sudo raspi-config ...

Hence my question. Does the current version of LE fit the kernel requirements and what (if anything) could I use instead of raspi-config which LE doesn't have?
