So, I got bored with my OpenELEC 6.0.3 installation and decided to try LibreELEC on my Intel NUC DCCP847DYE
But I've noticed the same bug that I saw when trying latest OE 7.x.x beta few month ago.
The 24p is not as smooth as it used to be - there are micro freezes here and there.\
They aren't THAT bad, but I'm quite sensitive for that matter and it is distracting. The problem is that on OE6.0.3 (and all of previous versions) the 24p playback is as smooth as it could be. Maybe it is the latest KODI player bug, I dunno. The freezes AREN'T in the same moments of the videostream - they are random
There are no dropped/skipped frames shown, by the way
So, I've tried upgrade from OE, and right now I did a clean install - the playback isn't smooth.
I've tried different settings (24 and 23.9678 refresh rates, disabling/enabling video sync) - nothing helped.
I did a clean install of OE6.0.3 and everything is smooth again.
Here's a debug log (started watching video at 0:48, stopped at 0:55)
Kodi NUC LibreELEC microfreezes 24p - Pastebin.com
the only suspicious thing i see is this line
00:49:24 T:139991324464896 DEBUG: CDVDPlayerAudio:: Duplicating packet of 10 ms
00:55:00 T:139992698333248 DEBUG: Previous line repeats 169 times.
I guess this is an issue of drivers, refresh rates, syncing etc - can anyone help?
Thank you!!!
