Hello all.
My first time with LibreELEC. I have been interested to test this kodi because of tvheadend dvb-t service (client and backend).
1) I have a dvb-t2 usb adapter, properly identified linux kernel in my PC.
Product: DVB-T 2 - Afatech AF9015 reference design
Manufacturer: Afatech
SerialNumber: 010101010600001
firmware: 'dvb-usb-af9015.fw'
From dmesg:
[25472.584840] dvbdev: DVB: registering new adapter (Afatech AF9015 reference design)
[25472.593146] af9013 9-001c: Afatech AF9013 successfully attached
...
2) On LibreELEC, same adapter is not identified properly by kernel. Kernel on this rpi3: (Linux version 4.9.59 (chewitt@buildbox))
Tested on a raspberry pi 3:
tested raspberry pi3 image: LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-8.2.1.img
Kodi 17.6 Git:a9a7a20
got this messages (dmesg).
[ 13.469034] usb 1-1.5: dvb_usb_af9015: command failed=170
[ 13.469076] dvb_usb_af9015: probe of 1-1.5:1.0 failed with error -5
[ 13.469204] usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_af9015
I came here because OpenELEC did not have the repo available to use tvheadend backend
I noticed there is not a previous OpenELEC version to downgrade in order to test another kernel.
I know this is a kernel issue but maybe is there another kernel version ready to support this adapter?
Please advice.
Thanks in advance.
