Firstly sorry for a new thread but i've been lurking and reading for a few days and just cant get this to work.
I have a M8S box that i'm trying to get an up to date version of kodi onto. The box itself runs Android 4.4 so I guess i also need to update the android version.
I was looking at AlexELEC files and have downloaded the ones i think i need the problem is I have never been able to get my box to boot using the toothpick method.
I have managed to get TWRP installed and have taken a backup so am not too worried about getting my hands dirty trying to get something installed. I managed to install the recovery using Rashr Flash tool to install the recovery and then using Rom Manager Lite to reboot to recovery.
So, since i cant get my box to boot from the SD card (i used WIn32 Disk IMager and the download AlexELEC-S812.M8S.arm-2.3.2.img.gz from from github) how can i go about getting the box to run something more up to date. It has the BCM4335 chip btw.
