Unable to install on Intel Nuc dccp847dye

  • I will post again seen as 247 viewed my last post but only got about 3 comments.

I have an Intel Nuc dccp847dye which I had OpenELEC running on around 3 years ago.I made the stupid decision to install Windows 10 which is was a mistake so I wiped the box with DBAN.

I have updated my bios to 0062 and set up settings to what I have read online, not saying it’s right but tried to do my research.

I downloaded Generic AMD/Intel/NVIDIA (x86_64) and created my usb with LibreELEC software.i place in usb, turn on Intel Nuc whilst pressing f10,puck said usb.screen goes black with a small amount of writing at top and blinking cursor. Then my tv loses signal to the Nuc but the Nuc is still on.Any help this time would be fantastic I need this sorting please.

  • Have You tried with different TV and/or monitor?

If Your TV has different HDMI modes (I.e.: PC, Game Console,...) have You tried different modes?

It sounds like Your NUC is switching to unsupported resolution or frequency.

    (Any setting in BIOS?)

    Just thoughts...
