oscam-emu updated addon

Hi, I'm considering ditching Libreelec as my server simply because there is no oscam-emu addon updated?

Is it possible the oscam that comes with libreelec will turn into oscam-emu for the sake of being up to date

Sure it's possible. There is nothing to stop any of our users contributing an oscam update (or new package) to the add-on repo, and we welcome community engagement in the maintenance of niche-use add-ons.

oscam-emu is a bit shady (legal wise), I would really not include it at the repo

But I see no problem that someone offers it at the forum.

Over the terminal it does not take linux commands?

Just install the add-on from the repo.

The included LibreELEC repo

Kodi -> Addons -> LibreELEC.tv repo -> Services -> OScam

yes soon, we already at "final" stages of releasing something - so I !guess! ~1 week
