installing Libreelec in Mac mini (late 2012)

Hello,

I am planning to install Libreelec in my Mac mini (late 2012) but before I attempt doing it, I would like to know if anybody has done this before and if would like sharing the experience.

I understand linux installation on mac mini late 2012 has some issues on drivers such us Broadcom etc.

It's been done before. The challenge is getting mac mini's to boot Linux, but Google and you'll find instructions.
