Weirdly my HTPC wont switch to bt2020 with this build, The previous builds (LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-11.0-devel-20230310030330-dd3231d.img.gz was working) but its removed. Switching manually with modprobe wont work as soon an HDR movies starts its switching back to RGB. What can i do?

Hi, i have a Gigabyte Brix 12th gen intel 1220P and have a weird problem. I cannot set HDMI port to full RGB with modetest. The value says that it is but looking at movies and the interface its not. Using a USB-C Display port to HDMI cable to test using modetest full RGB is working fine. The problem with the HDMI cable is that in movies the blacks looks very crushed and greyd, like if the brightness is set to high. There is also no option for YCbCr444, my old AMD 200ge defaulted to that and had no problems. Normally my config is 'Mini PC > AMP > TV. Removing the amp to make sure its not doing anything doesnt matter. The amp is not the problem. The reason why i prefer the HDMI cable is CEC and the use of BT.709 which is as far as i no for 1080p movie the correct colorspacing. The USB-C cable can only do RGB and BT.2020 and has no CEC support.

LE10 kernel is too old for the CPU so i cannot test that version

heitbaum Sorry for the late response. I have the generic version, Also tried the legacy but there is no differents. Youtube works with no audio problems. logs are here http://ix.io/4mP8

The logs are not with playing a movie if that is necessary i will try that tomorrow.

BTW i watch movies via the jellyfin plugin but not audio or video transcoded and if trying the same movie directly give me the same problem. This happens on DTS-HD. Dont no if this also give problems on Dolby True HD. Haven't yet had the time to watch a movie with Dolby.

I have a Gigabyte brix with a intel 12th gen 1220p and having audio problems. Playing a movie with audio passthrough give me random audio cracks and pops. Disabling passthrough is also not working because then i have random drops in audio. Windows and Kodi are working fine but i dont want to use windows. I dont no if 10.0.4 is working because the kernel on that version is too old for the CPU and/or GPU. it will not boot. What to do?

I have Gigabyte BriX GB-BEi3-1220 (intel 12th gen) and with the lastest nightly HDR is working but the color space is incorrect its not BT2020 so the colors look very weird. Do i have to enable something?

Also tested Win11 with the same movie there everything is fine 10 or 12 bit with BT2020

Have the problem. My AMD system is also not working on 10.0.3 just splash screen and nothing happens. the FTP was working so it was easy to go back to 10.0.2

The new 9.2 Alpha 1 works for me, Kernel version: 5.1.9

You can disable SMT if you want, and its only for using LibreElec, not for browsing the internet or using windows etc. i'm not that afraid about using SMT.

Tried starting with IGPU then put the GT1030 back in, boot the see if it made any log, but there is nothing.

So cannot give any debug log. After The bios post, black screen.

As reference tried Ubuntu with IGPU and that worked fine but is using newer kernel.

With the GT1030 it boots fine and there is no errors.

So is id likely i have to wait until the kernel in LibreElec gets a newer version.

Just bought an AMD 200GE but with LibreElec 9.0,1 and 2 its not booting, using external GPU (GT 1030) it works. If i tried LibreElec 10 alpha test build LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 19.0) its working fine which is using kernel 5.1 so think its a kernel issue. Looking on the internet found a very similar problem 1663204 – kernel-4.19.12-301 fails to boot on AMD Athlon 200GE according to the post kernel 4.20 fixed the issue. What to do? Just wait until the kernel in LibreElec gets updated or is there a fix for it.
