Hi All
I have been running LibreElec for some time now, and most recently updated to the latest v9 release
I am still having video stuttering issues
Intel NUC N3700, 4gb ram, 65gb SSD - Playin gMKV files from a Synology NAS, all connected at 1Gbit.
NUC connects to Yamaha RX-A2050 Receiver and in turn Eppy TW6700 PJ.
It seems more the background picture, if it moves fast i can see a shudder/stutter effect.
Appreciate your assistance?
thanks.

this is the Libreelec forum
2. Go into the Libreelec configuration & turn off LIRC
1. if you are running a nas, sounds like drives are hibernating, I don't know the solution
with the newest versions, there have been changes to SAMBA read the release notes.
I use NFS from my synology
Thanks - well aware of the forum, I'm using Libreelec, the issue started with Librelec update hence my post here
Ill turn off LIRC and try
Ill give NFS a go, but i am using SMBv2 and drives do not sleep - i did see this issue back in days of my openelec install, connecting to windows server
Definitely not hibernation as drives are set not to do so

Hi
I run the latest beta on my intel nuc of libreelec (needed the smbv2 support)
as of late, when i boot, i cant play anything, says item is no longer available, and when browsing at file level it wont connect
if i wait 10 - 15 minutes it comes good and everything works again
i had this issue some versions ago when i was running openelec, there was a work around with some script that resets something, but in later releases it was fixed anyway
Can anyone assist?
thanks

Take 2 more screenshots, of "Settings / Player / Videos", top and bottom parts.Perhaps the default audio offset has been changed.
Open the OSD during a video (press enter), go to audio settings, and change audio offset. After setting, use the 'Set default for all videos'.Hi, I checked that one, seems it's at default. Screenshot's attached
thank you for your help Klojum

Hi
a long time OE user here and just freshly installed LibreElec as it was time for a change and something more up to date - keep up the good work guys, i think i will roll this to all my Pi's in the house also
I have an Intel NUC i5, 8gb ram and 120gb SSD connected to a Yamaha RX-A2050 receiver with a 5.2.2 ATMOS setup and out from the receiver a BenQ W7500 Projector as my display all setup in my HT room
for a couple of years, i ran on OpenElec 6 until i saw LibreElec and recently upgraded which always ran well, no issues there!
Given my setup, i wanted to be sure my settings are most optimal for the best sound and picture
The one issues i seem to be facing now is
1) A lipsync issue, appears to be out, never had this previously
2) slight screen tearing in fast scenes, like a clear overlay on some parts of the screen in fast action partsAnyway, is there anything in my settings that should be changed to address these issues, or optimize my setup before i start looking at hardware issue or cabling
