I don't know if anything has changed in that regard between RPi2 and RPi3. But my CEC works perfectly with my RPi2.

So I would consider to look at

    Code
    dmesg

    and the kodi logfile under:

    Code
    /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log

if those might show something strange.

I guess what Klojum wants to say is, that it might not be very easy, if you create a setting, which is able to mount the specific part, do the changes at the correct place, and unmount it again.

As the RPi is initially meant as a device for developers and users who are willing to spend some time to get it working, I would say a little reading can be expected.

But yeah...it's a feature request...and maybe it gets into it or not. Depending on what the devs say and if they are willing to maintain it ;).

    TVH server is under:

    System->Addons->Install from repository->All repositories->Services->Tvheadend 4.2

    The PVR client is under:

    System->Addons->Install from repository->All repositories->PVR Clients->Tvheadend HTSP Client

could you please show use the output of

    Code
    ethtool eth0 | pastebinit

"eth0" might be different on your system. So please check with

    Code
    ifconfig

which NIC is in use and change the first command to the matching one.

A first thought might, that your power settings are different now on LibreELEC and therefor it behaves different than OE does. So please check your BIOS and your power settings once again if something is different in there.

Exodus and Phoenix both are banned add-ons. Read the link I sent above. I assume DramaGo will fall under the same thing. So there's nothing we are able to do for you. Contact the add-on author to fix the issue, if it comes up again or ask for support where you get those add-ons from.

Those addons aren't supported in here, as you can see in the link above.

    Cheers

Maybe you just used the wrong wording, but you say you are inspecting the "SD card". The RPi2 has a microSD card. The color gamut you see at the screen is mostly a sign for 'taken the wrong image file'. As the RPi1 has a SD card for the models 'A' and 'B' but have also microSD cards for the models 'A+' and 'B+', could you please try an RPi1 image and test if that one works?

I have a RPi2 myself and have had no problems installing LE on it.

So if the RPi1 image won't boot, too....I would maybe try another (micro)SD card.

Probably you should show the full log on pastebin and/or look at the kodi.old.log file, too

What do you mean with 'freeze'? Does Kodi get unresponsive or does the system hang completely. Try if you are able to ssh in if it 'freezes'. If you are able then grab the log exactly from that point and probably a dmesg.

If you have the possibility, could you please test with an OpenELEC 6.95.3 (7.0 Beta 3) to see if the issue appears at this as well.

OpenELEC 6.0.3 is Kodi 15.x and LibreELEC 7.0.1 is Kodi 16.x. So I'm curious if it's a general Kodi 16 problem or not. And OpenELEC 6.95.3 is Kodi 16.x, too. So it might be worth a test.

If you want you could also test a LibreELEC 8.0 alpha, which is Kodi 17 then. Maybe it's fixed already in a newer Kodi version.

    LibreELEC alpha for RPi2: LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-7.90.002.img.gz

As long as you are on LibreELEC you could use the file above directly. You can't upgrade to LibreELEC with that file as long as you are on OpenELEC, because OpenELEC does not accept *.img.gz files to upgrade. But LibreELEC does.

If none of the versions are working, please share logfiles from any to compare.

    Greetings

If the Pi is not reachable via ping from another machine, there is something strange happening with your network.

Get us a screenshot from your network settings.

Which LE version do you use? Do you use WiFi or a wired connection?

I have enabled (at Estuary Skin):

settings->service settings->General-> under 'Zeroconf': Announce services to other systems (on)

settings->service settings->Web Server-> Allow remote control via HTTP (on) (Port 8080; Username: Kodi; no password)

    then I also enabled:

settings-> Interface settings->Control-> Allow remote control form applications on this system (on)

settings-> Interface settings->Control-> Allow remote control form applications on other systems (on)

with those settings, everythings works fine. But my Pi is also reachable over the network. If that is not possible in your case, we need to fix that first

So please get us the screenshots

probably you should show an example what you mean. Tearing was never a problem under Intel. That´s mostly a problem under NVidia. So a debuglog might be helpful.

For the color range, newphreak said everything...so nothing to add to this. But probably you should look at your tv settings. If your NUC is set to full rgb your TV shouldn´t be set to limited and otherwise. Depending on the TV and what is available, you could set your TV to "auto". So it detects what it gets and uses that.
