if you enter the "install from zip file"-section, the upcoming window is not kind of a source. It's more a file browser where you are able to browse to the folder you downloaded/stored the zip-file to. Those aren't sources like the ones you added in Kodi. Those are just folders that exist on your machine and therefore they can't be deleted by opening the context menu.

You might be able to delete specific folders on your system using Kodis file explorer. Therefore you need to add one of the parent folders as a source in Kodis file explorer. You have to enable "Allow file renaming and deletion" in settings->media settings->general. Then move over to Kodis file explorer, navigate to one of the subfolders from the sources-folder you added before and bring up the context menu and delete that folder. After you did all your deletions you just have to remove the source again.

Note: removing/deleting a real source inside Kodi doesn't mean, that the folder, where the source points to, is completely deleted from the HDD. It's just not visible anymore inside Kodi.

if you add a source, that can be deleted easily by opening the context menu (key "c" on a keyboard) and select "delete source".

could you please tell us which version numbers you are referring to from those addons you named (emby and Titan). The Titan skin comes from the Kodi repository and emby has its own repo. So it would be nice to know which version you are currently using and which version you expect from both.

Maybe the repos aren't updated to the version you expect, yet?!

Because it's done like that by design. LibreELEC is for the user who don't want to fiddle around with the command line much, isn't Linux savvy and want things "just work". There are many supported wifi dongles around which are known working. Probably yours is also supported and it just needs some tweaks. So best would be to share more informations about that Mediatek dongle.

Did you specify an range for DHPC addresses? I did that mistake, too some time ago. So the router wasn't able to give that device an IP because every IP in that range was already given to other devices.

Which is the absolute minimum to run Kodi without!! hardware decoding. Even with HW-decoding you need something better.

if you want to use the wired connection, you have to disable the wifi connection complete. IIRC, you can't do both.

If that still doesn't work, check if the cable is broken.

If you don't need SMB, I would completely drop that and use NFS instead.

I know, that's not an answer for your question, but it will help.

You have banned add-ons/repositories installed. Remove those first. Otherwise there will be no ongoing support.

You could try with a clean installation by moving/renaming your .kodi folder to something else and then reboot. Install the twit addon directly after that reboot and see if it works with a vanilla kodi/LibreELEC.

FYI, it works pretty fine here on my VM running LibreELEC 8.0.2 with Kodi 17.3. So I guess Kodi isn't the problem in that case.

Accessing the BIOS is not related to the OS you will run on that machine. The Bios for your machine should be accessable by hitting the del button at startup. Try it, even you don't see the Post screen. You can also try to open up the boot-menu with F11 or F12 directly after start.

Please be more specific on this. What do you mean exactly with 'other sources'? Note, that a Smart-TV applikation is NOT another source. A source is specified by a device that you hook up to one of the TVs inputs.

If you TV outputs digital audio (DolbyDigital 5.1) from its internal player, it does not mean, that it's able to do the same for external sources. Some TVs are able to, some are not. Especially the ability to passthrough DTS from external devices through the TV to a sound system is pretty rare.

It would be better if you would be able to get a direct connection from your Hub to your Sound system. As this seems not to be possible you probably have to disable DTS and only use DolbyDigital.

As kszaq says. Try other devices (some other PC/Laptop) to rule things out.

Where do those channels/movies come from? Please note, that if we are talking about Live-TV, that (AFAIK) you will only get DolbyDigital. I don´t know any Live-TV channel which provides DTS.

What are your audio settings? Do you have "sync playback to display enabled"? If yes, that would disable audio passthrough automatically. So if yes, then disable it, please.

Why did you compile it? What is wrong with the 4.2 version we provide in our repo?
