Hi,
my WeTek Play randomly crashes and reboots (5-6 times a day). There is no crashlog inside /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi. I'm currently on 8.0.1, but the problem also occurs on 8.0.2. How can I trace that down?
Best Regards!

Hi,
I'm experiencing a strange problem with my WeTek Play in the last couple of weeks. My WeTek Play randomly turns on my TV via CEC. I can't say when it started because it usually happens at night or when I'm at work. Yesterday I was the whole day at home and tried to trace the problem. And it happened again: The TV powered on without touching the remote. It happens not regularly. I've looked into the log file and every time when the problem has happened, the log file starts with 'Starting kodi', so I guess kodi crashes and on restart powers on my TV. But I can't find a crashlog in /storage/.kodi/temp/.
What I've done to activate CEC: I've added echo 0x03 > /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/cec_config to autostart.sh.
I'm on 8.0.1, but the problem also happens on 8.0.2.
Thanks for your help!

sry for seeing this a bit late, this is an AMLogic bug with synchronising, isn't fixed yet but known as a problem (someone is working at this)Thanks for your response CvH! I will downgrade to LE7 for now, but let me know if I can help you with additional log files.

Is this the right place for posting this? Because if I get no help, I will switch back to stable LE7. But than we can't fix that bug.

Happened again... Log file: QNdU Any info?

You mean it completely freezes and doesn't react on any of your actions from IR remote? You can get LibreELEC 7.0 build for WeTek Play 2 on WeTek forums: LibreELEC 7.0 for WeTek Play 2 - WeTek Community Forum
I have the same problem with the Wetek Play 1... LibreELEC

I've activated debugging on my Wetek box today and played TvH for an hour. The box freezed completely (not responsive at all), the CPU load showed 100%. After a reboot, I got kodi.old.log: KWWV Can anyone find the source for the problem in there?
-
After I've updated from LE7 to LE7.90.008 I'm experiencing random freezes while playing TvH on my Wetek Play. There are two types of freezes:
1. The box freezes completely, is not accessable via remote or SSH. When I turn on the TV, I see the frozen image of the channel. I have to reboot the Wetek Play in order to access it.
2. The second freeze occurs when LE waits for the buffer (WARNING: CRenderManager::WaitForBuffer - timeout waiting for buffer). The stream gets stalled but it looks like that LE does not detect, that it can play further. I have to press Stop and Play again to watch.
I got not crashreport for the first type of freeze, but I'm attaching the kodi.old.log. Maybe someone can help me..

Anyone here that can help me debug this? Otherwise I will go back to stable LE 7. But I think it would be good to trace this down and fix it?

Couldn't find a crashlog inside /storage/.kodi/temp/. However I found an old crashlog with the following content, but I don't know if it is related to the error.
Code09:11:01 T:2543502240 NOTICE: Opening stream: 0 source: 256 09:11:01 T:2543502240 NOTICE: Creating video codec with codec id: 28 09:11:01 T:2543502240 ERROR: Unable to load libamplayer.so, reason: libamplayer.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory 09:11:01 T:2543502240 WARNING: CAMLCodec::CAMLCodec libamplayer.so not found, trying libamcodec.so instead 09:11:01 T:2543502240 ERROR: Unable to load libamcodec.so, reason: /usr/lib/libamcodec.so: cannot read file data: Input/output error

no - oe tvh has -disable-dvbcsa
we had bumped csa some time back maybe this is the curlpit - do a build later
I'm pretty sure that oe6 tvh had enabled dvbcsa for arm only. With oe7 dvbcsa is always enabled.
A build later of what? TvH or oscam? -
dvbcsa module has always been enabled for arm / WeTek Play. That's why your build isn't descrambling at all. Hmm, so it is more likely that it is a problem with oscam...

Sadly not working at all, no playback. Log file: 2016-05-30 10:44:17.525 [ INFO] subscription: 0003: "epggrab" unsubscribing 2 - Pastebin.com

Well this could explain "something". OSCam was "!always" the same but at Tvh we changed the descrambling (nobody said a word that this is not working - maybe nobody uses it).test
pls test to install over the normal tvh - reboot
This is deactivating a descrambler - dvbcsa - module (like in 6.0) - maybe it works.Could you provide this build for 4.0.9? I'm using the latest stable version of TvH.
-
[WARNING] descrambler: XXXX odd stream key is not valid
[ ERROR] descrambler: ECM late (18 seconds) for service "XXXX"sounds for me that tvh didn't get the keys in time
I`m not sure if there is a oscam problem but if this is fixed with the new package - why not ;DSadly, it is not. I've had some more time to test and I'm getting the same error messages with build 11233 after a while. To summarize:
LE oscam: Not working - getting error messages from the beginning.
OE oscam (Build: 10607!): Working - pretty stable, getting said error message once in an hour.
Build 11211: Not working - getting error messages from the beginning.
Build 11233: Not working - getting error messages each 10 minutes. So I haven't found a fully working oscam version yet. And I do think that maybe not oscam but tvh is the source of this problem. Any Wetek Play users that have LE fully working (tvh+oscam)?
CvH: When I update to OE oscam using GUI, I do not get 7.0.1 but 6.0.1. So it installs addons from the old OE 6 repo. This means that the semi working build is not 11211, but 10607.
