Pine64 does not provide a emmc sd adapter. You can dd the image while booting from SD card. There are some tricks to flash it using the Rock64 directly (google it). I never tried any of those cause I have no emmc.

wizardknight I'm aware of the problem that Kodi has limited keymapping. Normally this works cause of eventlircd. Is it running?
We don't need to patch anything btw. Just use a different rc-maps:
Copy your keytable and edit KEY_OK to KEY_ENTER for instance. No need to patch anything.
-
wizardknight I have it working in Kodi:
Nothing was wrong with systemd. Just a proper rc_maps.cfg required:
-
ok I suspect something else then. lirc is probably disabled so keep it disabled. you cannot test anything with ir-keytable while kodi or eventlircd are running because they are grabbing the device.
Now the real issue is probably systems. I had a similar case on AML where the sensor was marked as a joystick and kodi ignores joystick remotes.

Let me check my theory.

wizardknight please have look here infrared_remotes [LibreELEC]
Disable lirc and create a
/storage/.config/rc_maps.cfg
You can also test the multi keytable

trex_daemon My DVBSky960 is detected with Crazycat in TVH as Montage Technology M88DS3103 #0 : DVB-S #0
I'm not sure there are different variation of that card.

Rizwan Did you measure it yourself. The temp sensor is not very accurate. Also 130F seems ok for a board with no Fan. You can however change the CPU governor to powersave or ondemand if you like.
wizardknight This is most likely a write restrictions. What's the error?
-
No it's very likely not gonna be supported.

Release rb-leia21 · Raybuntu/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub
New build:
-Caretaker Addon preinstalled. It detects malicious repo's or piracy addons and warns the user about it.
It can be disabled.
-DVB Driver Addons from CvH.
If you need additional Crazy Cat DVB drivers you need to enable the addon:
http://cvh.libreelec.tv/LibreELEC/9.0_Leia/le-addons.mp4
I wish everyone happy holidays and a happy new year.

wizardknight I'm not sure the IR sensor is completly supported yet. However I have the same remote so I can play a little bit with it. It should work out of the box with lirc if IR sensor is supported.

Not sure. We are currently getting some pre production developer samples. No idea when it will be available.
About the SoC being identical with the Rock64: That might be true and you can try it but if something doesn't work there is probably no way for me to fix.

I suppose that this build will work on the upcoming Renegade https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/renegade-arm-computer-with-usb-3-on-android-linux/x/4042493#/
I only support ROCK64 at the moment and I definitely will not support devices I don't own including that Renegade. I will probably support Rock960 and RockBox soon (getting those devices soon)

New build. Please remember to update your addons. Kodi API changed so some addons may bet disabled by default on first boot. You need to install updates from my repo and re-enable
those disabled binary addons (inputstream.adaptive).
Amlogic:
There are a few kodi patches I included from afl1 and adamg to improve video playback (hopefully).
Rockchip:
RetroPlayer works very well now on ROCK64. To enable games menu to you need to input a Konami code at Home Screen:
Up Up Down Down left right left right b a
Video Playback was improved too. -
Thanks RB for the advice (and of course the software)--I've got Leia19 installed and running, w/ widevine, Inputstream, NF & Amz.
A few issues so far (anyone here having better luck w/ these?):
-- Even though my WeTek Hub can play full size (un-transcoded) BRay rips without a hitch, NFlx chokes hard on 1080p streams (only 720p plays smoothly).
-- No matter my Inputstream settings, Amz streams are always 720x576, at just under 3Mbps. I'm also having sync issues here (audio leading vid).
-- While most of my VC-/TrueHD rips play just fine, there's a small batch of them that won't play at all (freeze on first frame). These particular files also wouldn't play under Android or WeOS, but worked great w/ LibreELEC official (8.1+).
As always, much obliged for any pointers!
inputstream streams are SW decoded only due to DRM. Not everything is available in HD cause there is no hdcp support in Linux. 720p is max in Amlogic due to SW decode.
