Just had a look on github nespi 4 pins and they look the same to me..so script Da Flex posted should still work..
Did you try to run all 3 scripts manually from ssh and see if they are at least working mainly SafeShutdown.py
the other 2 scripts should work on any rpi as they are just kodi-send commands..
Don t forget to first install rpi-tools addon and make all your 3 scripts executable..

When I try to configure the timeshift buffer in TVHeadend 4.3 Alpha or 4.2 it does not hold the enablement flag.
Sometimes the fields completely disappear, or just the Advanced section disappear - see the attached image.

Make sure you have admin user rights on the tvheadend account you are using to change the settings...and also check the set location for your buffer if you r using a diff location rather then default...make sure tvheadend can write to that location..

You have 10 parameters in that section, mine only has 4. Its not a major problem since it happens infrequently and I have a workround.

I have Windows-compatible filenames: set and it works for an actual programme name, unfortunately a folder name can still contain banned characters (eg : as in NEW: Ipcress File) which makes it awkward to transfer to Windows. The only way I've found so far is to SSH in and rename the folder, copy it and then rename back.
Is there a switch in TVHeadend that I've missed?

Can't you try to set it up with your TV remote via CEC?

All you need to do is set your screensaver to turn off your screen after 3 minutes
then set cron to run every hour...set cron to to wake monitor and load your weather window just in case it has been closed for other media ..
