I have a question for you. I've a Raspberry 3B+,
The answer will not change if you ask it on a different forum.
You'll need at least an RPi-4B if you want to process/watch 4K videos.
Or other 4K capable hardware.

LibreELEC does not support any of the social media tools, really. Those are all outside the scope of the Kodi project.
I'm not a developer but two things so far:
>> a Class 4 MicroSD
A Class 10 SDcard is much preferred
Try running one of the videos from the local sdcard and not from GoogleDrive. See if your video still stops after some time.
Should i be able to use 4096x2160p?
If things work okay with 23/24/30 Hz, then it's probably the HDMI cable.
It auto updated in the background and now I cannot add subtitles I have downloaded.
Browsing for subtitles shouldn't be necessary, if:
- you used a Kodi subtitle download addon which should rename the downloaded subtitle automatically
- you rename the manually downloaded subtitles as per the related video file.
please fix
You'll have to provide your kodi.log file first (via pastebin). Enable debugging first and reboot LibreELEC, then start a video and select a subtitle. Should LibreELEC freeze, check if you still can log into it via SSH, if so, then you can send out the log file via:
pastebinit ~/.kodi/temp/kodi.log.
If not, send us the kodi.old.log file during the next LibreELEC session.
It's not so much a Kodi problem, but a LibreELEC problem. Browsing for subtitles Ubuntu+Kodi (also a Linux combination) on my PC, and manually selecting a subtitle, works. I'll check later on a RPi4 with LibreELEC.
You may want to keep the GUI at the same level as the maximum video rate, which is basically 60Hz. I don't know of any videos doing 100Hz/fps.
The Linux system underneath may think it's cute, but Kodi wasn't designed for 100Hz video output.
Hence my suggestion to test and limit the video output to 60Hz.
I was anticipating that the music artist and album artwork would automatically update however that doesn't appear to be the case
Sadly, Kodi does not have that kind of artificial intelligence yet. You will need to tell Kodi where to find stuff.
For music you will need to enter the Music section and add a 'source' for your music files. The whole process can be found here: Music library - Official Kodi Wiki .
Two things..
- What device are you using to run LibreELEC on?
- Why use 100Hz when a typical HTPC runs at 60Hz, and does the problem go away at 60Hz?
Yeah... Why don't you start by removing all the piracy add-on crap from your Kodi setup first?
Hint: they are the orange-colored entries in your log file.
Kodi has a piracy policy, which is plain and simple: no support when there is the slightest hint of piracy.
Something similar is in LibreELEC's forum rules. You accepted them when you registered onto this forum.
Come back when your system is clean.
That's still not a complete log file, "bro".
Kindly don't cut off or edit parts of the log file, as errors can start at any time.
what could be the issue here?
Next time please provide the FULL log file, via a pastebin website.
It's a bit difficult solving a puzzle with only a couple of pieces.
2020-04-18 16:51:33.272 T:1937670160 NOTICE: Disabled debug logging due to GUI setting. Level 0.
Please always enable debugging before troubleshooting problems, restart LibreELEC for a clean log, and reproduce the error(s).
I found out that there is a bug in the LibreELEC wizard
Let's start with the basics here. Exactly which hardware are you using, and which LibreELEC build/version are you trying to install?
I'd leave out the overclocking and start without it to get some sort of 'baseline' which "should" work.
And maybe your USB3.0 controller is a bit too quirky.
Yes, time moves on.
We're not supporting ancient hardware indefinitely.
Something that you perhaps have enabled in the "Settings/System/Power saving" section of Kodi?
