That has already been explained to you. There is no need having several different topics for the same set of questions. You already have your aswer in this topic from your question in the other opened topic.

You can't reset movie info that easily in Kodi. Database scraping functionality is not extensive enough to simply change video info applying a different language.
People should do that more often: write the answer to themselves. 
You need to add a source for your pictures first. Then you can browse via that source.
People don't just delete databases for the heck of it. But you thought it was necessary? And yes, of course all your video entries and information is gone when you delete your database. I wonder, what else did you expect after doing that?
You won't have to reinstall LibreELEC, but you will need to set the content again for your video source(s), and do a full scrape of your video collection.

As you may have noticed, we only create & compile builds for a select number of devices. The Odroid C1+ is not one of them. Perhaps somewhere in the Kodi community, people are building their own LibreELEC application for just that device.
LibreELEC is designed as a HTPC client application. Anything 'server' should be taken care of by other devices.
There is an option for auto-updating the Kodi libraries at startup. That, or one of your addons is getting a bit too enthusiastic.

Since you already tried the EDID solution, I'm not sure if anything else helps other than simply turning on the TV first and the htpc later on. It's just one of those 1st World problems IMO. How old is the Samsung TV ?
It could be a simple glitch on the SD card... (I once had the write-protection slider moved to readonly as I put in the SD card into a RPi-1). But lets do a kodi.log file first, just to see if something else happens.
"All of a sudden" is kinda strange to begin with. Why not start with giving us a debug-enabled kodi.log file? And a screenshot of that 'ghost menu' would be nice. I can't remember the LE team putting that one in.
Generic will do, as long as the ION box is 64bit capable.
As there are no specific Linux video drivers for AMD videocards (thx AMD!), each AMD gpu/apu seems to react in different ways to video problems. Some AMD cards work fine, while others have problems.

1) Like any divorce, we are not obligated to disclose the details of all that has passed in the last 2 years. So we won't do that.
2) As to the why of the fork, based on the creative differences, the other members of the OE team decided to do things differently. So after many conversations, we forked. See also Let’s rock this gig! – LibreELEC
3) The long-term planning is briefly outlined in LibreELEC (Krypton) v7.90.001 ALPHA – LibreELEC . We're linked obviously to Kodi, so our planning will be related to theirs.
4) Since the LE fork, things have been pretty quiet on the OE side. At this time, sraue has no official or unofficial seat in LibreELEC, also since there has been no contact between sraue and the LE team after the fork.
You have already read the About page, and I believe it's pretty clear what we stand for.

Well, Kodi/SPMC on Android 6.0 on Nvidia Shield TV is pretty good overall and blazingly fast. So there are exceptions.
Amlogic S905 hardware is already having various revisions, so that's a maze as well. S905 is on the LibreELEC agenda, but work is still ongoing in Alpha stage for only certain S905 boxes.
LibreELEC is a standalone HTPC application without any RAID support
OpenMediaVault is a full-blown NAS server with RAID options.
What is the use of having those two as a dual boot on the same system?
