You can find older releases in the LibreELEC Archive.

The installer has an initial video check, which probably does not cover 100% of the video card spectrum.
You could first install some older version without these hiccups, and then upgrade directly to the new version.

What does 'original' mean? Did you buy it from the Raspberry people?
But apparently the power adapter is not upto par to supply sufficient power.
Get a decent one, the RPi3 needs a proper 2.5 - 3 Amps power supply

I find this a bit odd:
Code10:01:45.072 T:139710185862912 ERROR: Create - Error creating /storage/.kodi/temp/scrapers 10:01:45.072 T:139710185862912 ERROR: Create - Error creating special://temp/scrapers 10:01:45.072 T:139710185862912 ERROR: Create - Error creating /storage/.kodi/temp/scrapers/metadata.tvdb.com/ 10:01:45.072 T:139710185862912 ERROR: Create - Error creating special://temp/scrapers/metadata.tvdb.com/
I'm only guessing that when no temp files can be created, it will also not be possible to unzip scraper info.

Maybe they think it's not that critical....
The first thing to do with problems of any kind in Kodi is that the developers can reproduce the problem. When that is not possible for whatever reason, it becomes a lot more difficult to fix those problems.
With LE 8.02 the Problem still exists
With every new LibreELEC release: new log & crash file(s), please.
In full and unabbreviated.

Get us a full kodi.log file for starters.
Enable debugging, reboot, start the scanning, and upload your log file as described in the link.

It's an old release, which is now in the archive: LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-7.95.3.tar

Which exact Nvidia gfx card is this about? It's possible you need an alternative build with older 304.xx drivers instead of the now 340.xx legacy drivers.

A number of things can set via the guisettings.xml file, but not everything.
Also, the new Chorus2 interface does give access to various settings.

Does your LE box have a 'normal' IP address from the router's DHCP pool?
-
Are any firewall settings on the Win10 pc perhaps blocking the connections to the LibreELEC box?

I have an addon thAt deletes everything except the addon itself.
I'd like to know the name of that add-on. Just for informative purposes.
It is 99.9% likely a piracy add-on, but I still would like to know the name.

Diving in the archive I found this post: dual boot setup

Accessing the PC's BIOS is not really related to LibreELEC, but updating your 8.0.1 will not require another USB installation. Updates can be installed via the LibreELEC Settings Add-on. If you have the auto-updater enabled, you should receive the update message automatically. Or, hit the update button and have LibreELEC update itself.

There is Win32diskimager which also allows making backup copies of SD cards.
In Ubuntu there is also the 'dd' command for the more experienced Linux user.

hi ,guys , I am a noob,
I want to know how I can change the LE splash screen when I compile my own build based on the LE ? thanks in advance
Please create your own topic/thread next time, as it has nothing to do with the forum thread you are now typing in.
You don't need to recompile LE for getting a different LE splash screen.
Put an oemsplash.png file in the /flash folder and reboot.

Is the new forum really that bad on its own on a mobile phone? Or is Tapatalk just elbowing itself onto as many mobile phones as possible merely for its own commercial plans (including advertisements?) and other usual granted Android/iOS privileges?
I haven't used/tested the new forum yet on my phone, so I'm in the dark there.
