Try temporarily renaming the guisettings.xml file in the userdata folder, and reboot the RPi so Kodi can create a fresh guisettings setup. See if that changes anything.

Still, there is no crystal ball available at this time, so please provide a debug-enabled kodi.log file via Pastebin.com - #1 paste tool since 2002! (or other text uploading website) for more specific details when viewing your 'stuttering' videos.

As said, dive into the Kodi GUI and browse to Settings/System/Input
Your RPI's CEC module should be listed there.
Enter it, and scroll down to the HDMI port number/value field (I can't remember the exact description).
It will probably have a '0' value.
Press ENTER to go into the full Kodi editor, and change the 0 to 2 (or 1, if your RPi is connected to that TV's HDMI port).
Save the CEC settings on exiting, and reboot the RPi.
Double-check the CEC behavior.

I'm assuming that the remote of your TV does not work in combination of the Raspberry Pi.
Kodi's auto-HDMI port selection for CEC may not work properly. It defaults to port #1 on the TV, so try switching both HDMI cables. HDMI port selection can also be forced to something else in the Kodi Settings/System/Input/CEC settings.

For standard video usage in Kodi, virtually none, if all things work as advertised.
But some people also use other tools/addons/paths where an OS mount is more practical.

If you want to run NFS, try an Ubuntu Linux (Server) approach. Installing Ubuntu and setting up an NFS server and its mounts/shares is done in (under) 15 minutes, once you know how. I've been using Kodi + Ubuntu NFS for years now without a glitsch.

I cleaned up your text a bit. Lots of useless empty lines are not very inviting to read a text.

several crashes/permanent freezes during video playback or other operations like movie library update.
This was your initial problem. In your now submitted log file I can see no video files being played.
Also enable debugging when submitting the next kodi.log file.

We don't provide any support on machines that have builds, wizards or other banned/illegal addons installed.
Please read the forum rules more closely next time.
And on a lighter note: using the Durex build on a machine that is for the kids' room somehow sounds a bit ironic to me.

32bit or 64bit won't make much of a difference. It's all about the built-in graphics card: can it run Kodi or not.

Two things:
1) Always use a text paste website like Pastebin.com - #1 paste tool since 2002! to provide your log file(s).
2) Don't come here with illegal/banned repositories or addons installed. No support will be given as long as there is no clean log file. It also applies to the kus.allinone repo.

Hello cummunity!
Sorry if we disappoint you, but we are not a porn-related forum.
Any suggestions?
Always provide a debug-enabled kodi.log file for starters.

Your debug-enabled full Kodi log file, please.
Our crystal ball hasn't been returned yet. -
built a Ryzen 2200G system today. Installing LibreElec is failing... It says "Failed to start xorg Is you GPU supported?"
What can i do?
Not that much at the moment, unless you are a skilled builder.
Ryzen requires a newer Linux kernel from the one the LibreELEC/Milhouse is currently using, plus some additional fixes. Initial tests have been done with moderate success (afaik), but as LibreELEC prefers to stick with LTS kernels, there is a bit of a challenge there. Final decisions have not been made yet. Check for other threads on this forum as well as the Kodi forum.

Yes, he has taken a few days off. Even robots need their maintenance.
FYI, from the Kodi forum:
QuoteAnyone wondering why there's not been any builds recently - LIRC is broken on Kodi master, so there's no point until that is fixed.
Having a break from building is quite pleasant, I'm just hoping I don't get too used to it...

Skipping is no option. I want to watch e.g. Formula1 in quick run. (not to miss anything)
Then get yourself a proper htpc with more CPU horsepower. The RPI was designed for normal video play speeds, and not for having to do 60fps videos at 3-5 times the speed. Basically having to process a video with up to 300fps.

Instead of having to ask for each detail in a separate post/question, how about providing the full debug-enabled Kodi log file?
Unfortunately, a crystal ball is not yet part of our standard bag of tools.
