Hello!
I have been using a LibreElec-HTPC-TVHeadend Setup (Server 4.2.8/HTSPClient) with "MagentaTV" Multicast IP-Streams flawlessly since AGES.
On 01.01.20 my provider started using new SSM multicast addresses and the old ones don't work anymore. Sadly, the new ones don't work either on my LibreElec TVHeadend Server, the addresses aren't recognised. I have a "spare" TVHeadend Server on my Synology NAS (also 4.2.8, like on LibreElec). The addresses are recognised fine and are working there. They also work using VLC on a Mac! The new addresses look like this, for example: "rtp://[email protected]:10000"
I would like to continue using my TVHeadend Server on the LibreElec HTPC cause it has been working better (much less IPTV Errors)
I tried to get it to work for hours, and tried nearly everything.
Anyone had the same issues with the new Telekom-MagentaTV SSM-Streams on LibreElec 9.2?
Anyone having the new streams working on LE-9.2/TVHeadend?

I have this issue also since LibreElec 9.0 (nvidia card with legacy drivers). After a reboot the calibration is lost. Interesting side note: i have two "1920x1080" screen size options to choose from in the KODI Settings. With LibreElec 8.2.5 i had only one screen size option per resolution to choose from. Maybe that's the cause?

Do newer Low-Profile NVIDIA Cards with x265 support work better/normal with suspend mode and the new drivers?

So, LibreElec 8.2.5 with new nvidia drivers is out. Anyone tested if freeze upon suspend is still happening?
The new Version has 390.42 drivers.

Hi!
Maybe someone has a better/more comfortable idea to solve my issue:
Kodi stops reacting to IR commands after some hours of use, or after some system sleep cycles. I use a mce usb compatible USB Receiver which worked just fine since LE 8.2.
„irw“ on the console gives proper feedback and keypresses show just fine, when the problem occurs. I even tried to reload the mceusb kernel modul to no avail.
BUT: „systemctl restart kodi“ via ssh console brings back full remote functionality!
Any Ideas?

Just tested sleep with 384.90 driver: freeze upon sleep (underscore in left upper corner)Legacy works.
Shouldn't 384.90 have fixed the freeze upon supend error?

Has anyone with the "underscore after wake freeze" tested the new LE 8.1 Beta which has the 384.59 drivers?

Anyone tested LE 8.02 and the included Drivers? Or are they still the same?

You aren't deleting the driver itself, just the instruction that tells LibreELEC to use the older ones instead of the newest.i.e. Both drivers are installed in the system already - you don't need to touch them. Just add file 96-nvidia.rules which forces use of the legacy version. If the rule is not there LibreELEC goes back to uses the newer driver as usual.

Are the included nvidia drivers still problematic regarding crash upon suspend?

Same here with LE 8.0.0: underscore and black screen when trying to enter suspend with included nvidia drivers.
Forcing the legacy nvidia drivers fixes it (340.101) -
