New build up rb-beta2c: Based on recent LE master, new peak3d patches, kszaq's FRA fix, remote fixes. WH and HK remotes work much better now.
I can also see a rb-beta-3, what is that?

Are you using standard skin. I don't like it very much because it's overloaded and slow. I installed confluence skin from the repo. It's faster.I'm using Eminence 2.0. Never liked Confluence. Estuary seems fine, but it takes some getting used to.

Upgrade to Raybuntu's build, remote works fine for me with that one. I didn't try wrxtasy's build.

Yes. It's standard with official LE. Only wrxtasy is using "le"Because wrxtasy is a lazy bastard

I've updated to the "2b" version on my Hub. So far the only problem I had with the beta 2 was that sometimes (rarely) the UI froze and LE reloaded itself after a minute or two. I'll post here again in case I continue to have the same problem with this build. -
I can't seem to SSH in to this build, is that password not "le"? I'm trying to update to "b2" version.Ignore this post, just saw in settings the password ist "libreelec".

This is literally the only Kodi build I've tried which doesn't crash on my Hub (I've tried LE 7.1.0, WePlayer, Kodi 16.1 and 17 RC4 on Android etc.)So thank you a lot for your work!

Do you have a custom lircd.conf. Remote is working for me.I don't have any custom / advanced configs, I just burned your image on an SD card and booted of it. No tinkering, no custom builds or similar.
EDIT: the remote does work. I am using a harmony remote to control all my devices. After I increased the command repeat it suddenly started working. Meaning for some reason the IR receiver is less sensitive with this LE build. Once the repeat value was increased, it started working without a hitch. I didn't test with the stock remote.

I'm giving this a go. So far it seems to work fine, except the Wetek Hub remote doesn't work. CEC works fine.
