    Meanwhile, I have a second box (a Nexbox A95). The box is also running version 7.0.2.007 with the device tree for A95X from version 7.0.2.006. This box has exactly the same behaviour.

    The at yours setup other problem present.
    What is your setup?

    I patched latest alex's LE version (7.0.2.003) for KI Plus S2/T2 with chbmuc's incorrect aspect ratio fix. I also added kszaq's support for multichannel PCM. I had serious issue with audio. After adding kszaq's fix it disappears passthrough setting. I fixed it with dirty patch of AML-M8AUDIO.conf. In my version is additional audio device "ALSA:AML-M8AUDIO,Analog" supporting all audio formats (also multichannel PCM). In HDMI device is no sound for multichannel PCM.
    I prepared SDcard version LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KI_Plus-7.0.2.004.img
    I changed version to 7.0.2.004 but kernel is still 7.0.2.003.

    Then multichannel isn't work over HDMI?
    Cec patch include too?
    And would be nice add v4l additional dvb drivers, because alex build not support other dvb drivers.

    There is no reset hole on the box somewhere?
    Maybe under box.
    Or sou can disassembly box, and find the microswitch, or the place of switch in panel.

  • After restart, changed the network settings.

    For me it isnt help.
    When i restart, or turn off/on device, wifi settings changed autonatically from off to on, and wired ethernet from on to off..

    I have a dirty solution.
    I restore backup from 2 weeks ago.
    The problem gone, and ethernet working again.
    But good to know the solution for it, what settings bad.
    Can you reproduce: turn on wifi, anf ethernet off. Then comnect to wifi network.
    Then turn off wifi, and turn ethernet on. Restart.

    I used my MiniMX with libreelec 7.0.2.007 wiithout network problems long time.
    One day i decide, try the wifi speed. It was disappointing , slow...
    After that i delete the wifi connection, and switch back to ethernet.

    Since that, always when i restart my box, always automatically turn back wifi setting, and turn off ethernet at libreelec settings.
    When i change again, then work, but just to another restart. Then again the wifi enabled, and ethernet disabled.
    How can i fix it?

    kodi 17 runs without issues on all other devices in my setup.
    The other problem is i can't share the same db on my devices because only the amlogic one is still on 16.1 :), but no problem i can wait, it is already amazing what kszaq is doing for this cheap devices :)

    Then sorry, in my country inputstream isnt relevant.

    I dont understand many people, why want to upgrade to next kodi (what is still alfa/beta)...
    For what i use it (playing video, listen music,tv), the old kodi 14,15,16 perfect. All of them play perfectly video, no important news about it.
    More important is: good kernel to amlogic devices, and bugfixes.

    alternatively, for internal memory you can run this command: dd if=path_to_new_device_tree of=/dev/dtb bs=256k

    When you update dtb at your sd installation: copy dtb to sdcard, and rename dtb.img, and restart device
    When update nand, copy dtb to foldeer (example backup), and ssh make a dd order, what already detailed, and restart.

    • for SD card version simply download device tree and copy it as dtb.img to your SD card
    • for internal memory version follow instructions for new install using recovery
    • alternatively, for internal memory you can run this command:

I copied the xxx.dtb to for example to backup folder with samba, and dd if=/storage/backup/xxx.dtb of=/dev/dtb bs=256k

Doesnt matter what resolution or refresh rate. its still the same result. its not related to screen. its just the animation of left or right scrolling isnt smooth. sometimes its better sometimes its cutting. Have MXQ PLUS 1/8 and Beelink MiniMXIII 2/16. its acting the same on both boxes. With android build under kodi the scrolling is much more smooth. its vissible really much on for example Aeon Nox skin, but on default skins its there too, but not that much.

    For me 005 or 006 was isn't smooth.
    But for me with 007 and 1080p60 everything perfect.
