I'm just curious how do I get the menu button working on my M8 box.It worked fine on LibreELEC-Amlogic.arm-M8-7.0.2-update.zip but I recently updated to libreelec 7.95.3.001 and all the buttons work but the menu button.i added a remote file to config folder and rebooted still same issue my girlfriend uses it all the time so id like to fix it for her
Kszag all I can say is you do great work thank you I'm a big fan of libreelec
I finally loaded it to internal and its working great so far
As far as I can see, it should be compatible with kszaq's S905X LibreELEC distribution, but you won't know for sure until you try.
Install it to an SDHC (TF flash) card and try booting it up - that way there's little that can go wrong, as long as you know what you're doing (just follow the instructions closely and you should be fine). Even if it doesn't work, all you'd have to do is to power off the device, pop out the memory card and reboot, and voila - you're back on Android.
its running great from the usb I just tried it just trying to figure out how to write it to the internal
I got an A96Z 905x processor 2gb ram 16gb rom just curious if anyone loaded libreelec on one I want to switch it but wanted to look into it first see if anyone had any luck
It ran once for me then after rebooting it hung up on the boot screen on my gbox mx2, tried reinstalling an older working version I had on previously and it does the same thing now. Really don't know what to attempt next.
I got mine working had to do it from scratch couldn't use my backup
I'm not sure what are you talking about but the apk file you mention is for Android. This is a LibreELEC build. It has nothing to do with Android. Are you trying to restore your Android backup in LibreELEC? This will not work. You can try to export your media library from Kodi in Android and import it in LibreELEC if needed.
sorry I meant that version of kodi
So i happened to see drieschel work stalled,
So i decided to open a new one with my builds, i like to go stable so dont ask rolling builds
and i only have an S802 [Beelink S82, Orbsmart S82, Tronsmart S89(-H), MXIII(2G)]
So my builds for other boards are always been builded and released untested!

this is the version that works for me
perfect thank you.
