is there another build we should install etc?
Why ?
There is a fork from kszaq`s builds - pre alpha and not stable
This version runs stable and it´s perfect for daily use

I assume that more people have this problem not just me? How is it working for you guys? or am I the only one using actual harddisks via usb directly lol
I also use some external harddrives via usb - no problem
It´s OK to save money, but if the cheap reason is not working ....
BTW:
What is expensive for You ?
I bought a little NAS system as a christmas gift for my sister - < 100€
For streaming files only, a 6-8 year old PC is also good enough.
Or a cheap little 2-Bay NAS
and ???
which is stable?
no stable exist!
There are stable versions LE7 and LE8
The version You use i pre alpha
can nobody tell me how to get pvr.dvbviewer running?
Two options:
1. You can repeat this questions so much times untils some one tells You how to run it
2. You can use a stable LE version and install addon from the repo
Once this is done and you're using internal memory for data, how do I then get a "fresh" system back?
Reverts the steps You have done before.
Reflashing the SD card or flashing a new SD card will work, but the data on internal memory will not be used
So I guess that it's a one time command and you don't have to execute it at every boot, right?
Yes, it´s a one time command
You can check all data stored in NVRAM with the command fw_printenv
Can I ask you if you run LE from Sdcard or if you installed it to internal ?
Runs from SD card.
The command should work on both installations - it writes data into NVRAM - but I never will install on internal, makes no sense in my case
Thanks for answering. I tried your command but ends up with an error:
Dont´t know - there must be some trouble in Your installation
I can set hdmi mode 720p60hz or 1080p60hz without any error message on all my amlogic boxes(3)
running LE 8.2
You can try to set HDMI mode via SSH
Example
fw_setenv hdmimode 1080p60hz
If Your TV only support 720p try fw_setenv hdmimode 720p60hz
thx, but probably does not look good.
Hyperion is not running well @amlogic boxes.
I don´t know if there are developers to fix it
Sorry, can sameone share the dtb file for tanix tx3 2gb for lcd show time and not "boot" message? thank you
Look here -> LED (VFD) Displays in LibreELEC
I can't boot the USB with libreelec the w95 goes to android menu at start.
Did You use an usb pen or sd card ?
How did You prepare pen/sd card ?
do you prefer a 2/32 or a 3/16 device ?
2 Gb RAM is enough for LE/CE
16Gb storage capacity is enough for me - I don´t save my video/music files on internal storage
But I prefer my S905x boxes - very stable for daily use in livingroom
My S912 is just for fun and playing around
Wich would you choose for best LibreELEC compatibility ?
If You ask 5 peoples You will get 10 answers
But remember: It´s a DIY system - You have to read and understand a lot
Don't have any issue playing UHD ISO on Nvidia Shield, there should be a way to fix it as this a very solid media player.
I don´t know - could be hardware limitation of our cheap S90x boxes
I think the issue is playing ISO UHD files..
Agree.
I have only one UHD ISO file - Playback sucks
Ripped .mkv is playing smooth.
