if You are using a good/fast SD card .

I checked it up on my Odroid N2

Running on EMMC and running from fast SD card I can´t see ab big difference.

All my S905X/S912 boxes are running perfect using SD card and I never had issues after updates.

That´s another story, many people bricked the box trying updates running on internal memory

Better prepair a SD card and try to run LE.

If LE is running from SD without problems, You can try install installtointernal, but first try to get the original ROM of Your box to be able to go back if installtointernal fails.

BTW:

LE 7 is very old, there is no support from developer

All amlogic boxes are android tv boxes.

None of these boxes could be user 10 years ore more.

Most of cheap china boxes are a peace of crap - no support from manufacturer - fake ram - unsupportet wlan and bluetooth ......

Best choice are SBC´s like Odroid N2 or Khadas VIM boxes

You have done something wrong and Android crashed. Perhaps a look at Andoid Forum like freaktab could help.

Yes, the beta versions of CE had some bugs etc.

CE 9.01, using kodi 18.1 is stable now.
