I have noticed the same freezing when watching live TV. Had to revert back a couple of versions to have it stable again.

Ok, thanks for the replies guys

Thank you,
I would like to test these builds but I have a lot of addons and settings made. How can I back up them and restore in this build? Sorry for the offtopic and nob question.
The files above are TAR files meaning you will not lose anything the way you have it setup now. Just drop the tar file into the Update folder (\\[box]\Update) and reboot. If you want to revert to your old version later you can just drop the TAR file for that version into the Update folder and reboot again.

Or even just provide instruction on how I can build it myself using the PMP code and GitHub - Raybuntu/LibreELEC.tv: Just enough OS for KODI provided by Raybuntu. I can spin up my own build env, I just dont know how to integrate the two. Thanks

Hi guys,
I bought a Wetek Hub recently to put OpenPHT on it and it works great for the most part. It does not play nicely with my Plex channels whereas the channels work fine with the standard Plex apps on Android, Android with Chromecast and Plex app on PC. Currently the PMP devs have two embedded versions based on an older LE version, x86 and RPi. When I asked about Amlogic they said it could be built with LE 8 for Amlogic.
So my request (to Raybuntu I suppose in particular since he builds a lot for Wetek devices ) is if someone could make a Wetek Hub (S905H) embedded version of PMP using LE8 and the source here GitHub - plexinc/plex-media-player: Next generation Plex Desktop/Embedded Client ?
Thanks

Hi kszaq Sorry for the unrelated question but would it be a difficult task to get an embedded Plex Media Player for Amlogic? PMP is based on LE and you are the resident expert so thought you could answer it. I have a Wetek Hub (S905H) and would love to try PMP (GitHub - plexinc/plex-media-player: Next generation Plex Desktop/Embedded Client) on it but Plex only have an embedded version for x86 and the Pi. Thanks for all the great work

Thank you very much.
Do you know what kind of user I need to create? Is enough with the user that is created with the initial wizard with these rights?
BTW, I've followed this Youtube tutorial (using LE repositories) to setup the TVHeadend and there is not reference to configure user/password. Is there this configuration in any file?
That should be fine. Next you need to set the password so next to the tab where you created the user click the Passwords tab and click Add, then enter UserTV and the password. Then enter the same username and password in the TVH client in Kodi Add ons. That should do it

Thank you.
Your antenna is like mine (meighborhood community) multiplexed with DVB-T and DVB-S in the same cable or individual?
I think the key is in the Unauthorized access message in the TVheadend log
Anyone knows what can I do to solve it?
My cables are seperate, one going to a dvb-t aerial and the other to a satellite
The unauthorized message is coming from your TVHeadend client addon in Kodi trying to access your TVHeadend server (they are two seperate programs). You need to create a user and password for the client in TVH Server and add that username and password in the TVH Client settings.

Thank you.
1. Yes, DVB-S in Android works flawless.
2-3. I've seen in Wikipedia what is DISEQ :s I didn't know what is. I've tried to disable then DISEQ switches with the same result.
I have a community antenna with DVB-T and DVB-S multiplexed in the same cable. Some like this.
4. Yes, I made a setting with TVHeadend with DVB-T USB dongle in other s905 based TV Box. It was so easy.Sorry for the newbie questions
Edit: I made a setting with DVB-T, not with DVB-S
[hr]
This is the TVHeadend logJust want to add that I am using both the DVB-T and DVB-S interfaces on the KIII with this build and both are working perfectly.
My DVB-S interface is set to Universal LNB Only, not a switch. That shouldn't matter but I thought I should mention it.

I could not get the new update to work, it gets stuck on the LE splash screen. I noticed the first post shows revision B again and not revision E. Did you revert?

Thank you for the quick response

Hi afl, I see kszaq released newer builds. Can I use those update tar files after using this image or do I need to wait for a new image from you? Thanks

Anyone resolved the fact that we need to switch HDMI video source on the TV again, when running the box just after Kodi writes "17.1", and just after playing any movie.FYI I have not seen this issue
[hr]It's working since the first release.
Yep working perfectly for me also

If you are using a windows computer the easiest way to get it working is to take the .tar file from here... Index of /s912/8.0.1b-experimental/
and copy it along with the dtb.img file from here MEGA
to \\<ip address of LE box>\Update
and reboot the box

Thanks for the response. Here's hoping down the line in TVH 4.5+ it will have it

Hi guys, Im just curious if there are any plans to integrate AMFFmpeg into TvHeadend for LE to allow hardware transcoding on Amlogic devices? Thanks
-
You have to update also dtb. In kszaq's dtbs is missing description for internal dvb tuner.
KIII_Pro_dtb.zip
Unzip it to .update folder and add .tar file, then reboot box.Working now. Thank you very much.

Check the other thread for your box.
Thanks I found it!
