Hi, I installed last build and tried to boot it in KI Pro with this SD:
It doesn't boot, is it possible to boot with that sd?

kszaq, pls, compile tvheadead42 with patch tvheadend42-04_dvb_c_annexB.patch to test fix for this issue. Currently I am unable to build addons for LE 8.2.
THX
Hi kszaq could you compile this to test if tvheadend people fixed the issue?
Can you switch to latest media_build?
No, it is single multistandard tuner. Links to sellers violate forum rules, use google.
Possibly an avl6882 because it announces to have isdbt (it is not probable to expect a more expensive si2183 for example)
Is any spec of which tuner board is used?
Hi, just a cuestion, what should be the correct temp for KII then playing HD video? Mine rises up to 80°C when playing sometimes
Hi, anybody have an idea if it is possible to cast YouTube or related stuff from a phone via Miracast to KII like a Chromecast?
Sorry, the idea was not to bomb. It wasn't clear whether the fail was, now we know that is directly related to driver. We have not the same level of knowledge as you have to figure it out by ourselves, sorry.
Afl1, could you see scanning issue?
Update in #1.
I relaxed late frame processing to avoid accidental frame deleting from decoder queue causing playback stuttering.
Fix in chapter skipping to avoid double seeking.
Tested, If setting maximum pids to 26 it fails, if it is not set, it discovers all muxes but looks like to keep scanning something with first mux that is added, then it returns poll timeout
Update in #1.I tried to improve channel speed switching by changing late frames processing, removing buffer prefill and applying drain loop fix.
Tested, scanning issue still present like previous IX build. Will wait for next IX build to compare.
Sorry, I fixed #1. Now you can download dtb for KII Pro.
P.S.:
I older versions is available link to the same dtb.
Hi, any news for IX fix?
Any new of issue that we have with tiagovb?
Same issue here as tiagovb with this version
It seems that r848 is trying to tune dvbs or i'm reading useless info?
need rebuild again
+ tuners/r848: DVB-C annex B support.
Hi, same issue that happened with R848 is present now with new board (r912 tuner), I saw that there wasn't r912 folder in /sys/modules, is it possible to port the same solution that was made for r848 for r912? System appears to be trying to use r848 driver

Hey, kszaq! Have you checked out channel switching issue? (It is detailed in previous posts)
afl1 what you think about channels switching?
Hi, i guess that channel switching is a bit slow (considering the HW power of the stb), this happens with free to air terrestrials channels.
Is it possible to measure this time to get an idea if it is in fact slow and can be improved?
