20170228:
Code- rebased on le8 - kodi 17.1-rc1 (latest krypton git) - linux 4.10.1 - added the media_build drivers (previously disabled in this build) - uses libinput (1.7 rc1) instead of evdev/synaptics for better input handling in xorg - glupen64-libretro has been forked into mupen64plus-libretro and the core previously called mupen64plus-libretro is now parallel-n64-libretro - updated packages: xf86-video-intel, mesa, vulkan-loader, sabnzbd, sonarr, beetle-psx-libretro, pcsx_rearmed-libretro, snes9x2010-libretro, mame2003-libretro, core-info, libretro-database, retroarch-assets, retroarch
All builds are now built with -O2 optimization again for better performance.

dude its FRESHLY installed on a clean sd card..the only thing i did is to copy the advancedsettings.xml and share xml ... i'm an it-engineer, so im not absolutely cluelessseems like i have to use an old home consumer switch that isnt that fast as the enterprise hardware.
well anyway..this will become a bigger problem if users got better hardware at home.
and because i love to follow every tip, even i think its useless, i removed the complete autostart.sh...
3 times boot up successful, 2 times failed, then it was ok again... its like playing russian roulette!

my last thought is , that i damaged something when i added a reset button to the raspberry... but .. well.. not probable
[hr]
a solution would be if there is a way to completly reset the eth0 interface an reload kodi... that may take the double time till its useable but its still better as rebooting 4-5 times..just to be sure i tried the raspberry with a raspbian and retropie installation..the network connection is available on EVERY reboot.. so its for sure a openelec/libreelec problem.
to be sure i do for fun a osmc installtion tomorrow.
[hr]
said, and did.. took a 10 year old 100mbit switch from tp-link and switched it between the ubiquiti enterprise switch... 10 reboot , 10 times fine. line timings raised to above 10 times higher (0,1ms to 1,4ms)libreelec.. we got a problem and for sure every developer will ignore it.
Wow, what a rude post. An IT engineer? You've been explained the problem and served multiple solutions to it, yet you still are unable to fix the issue and are even blaming the developers? Your degree is a fraud then.
This is not even a LibreELEC specific issue, it's a Kodi problem known since forever. No network = no database, simple as that. You've been given the tools to diagnose and fix it in this thread, so stop your whining.

Take a look at /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/97-xorg.rules and /usr/lib/xorg/xorg-configure to see how xorg is configured. You can place a manual configuration in /storage/.config/xorg.conf.

Yes it can do 4K HEVC, not 10-bit I guess.

Tronsmart Ara X5 Plus does everything you want for $99 (except gigabit lan), and it should beat the odroid c2 easily performance wise.

Maybe if I learned programming and had some kind of interest in moonlight
In other news, I've narrowed down the issue I had with youtube when using -O2 compiler optimization to libressl. I've added a new build to the "testing" folder which is built with -O2 and uses openssl. I've also included libressl for compatibility with addons, so there shouldn't be any issues. I've also fixed the Spotify URL issue. Please test.

It's such a rare computer and nothing I'm interested in myself, so unfortunately I won't be adding it.
You can install libraries anywhere in the $LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and the lib directory of any addon will automatically be added to it. If you'd like to cross compile SDL, it's already packaged in my tree and there should be enough information if you search for it on how to get a build going. Other than that you could copy it over from another distro.
The entire LibreELEC OS is contained in a single squashfs (/flash/SYSTEM) made during build time, which is then copied to RAM and mounted read-only. Normally addons are installed under /storage.

Try this in SSH:
Code# spotify http://repository.spotify.com/pool/non-free/s/spotify-client/spotify-client_1.0.49.125.g72ee7853-83_amd64.deb
After the initial download it should run fine from the menu shortcut.
Development on Sonarr is slow, it doesn't need to be updated very often. I disagree on NZBget being any better, SABnzbd has a lot more features and is more mature. You can always package nzbget yourself as an addon if you prefer that.

Blame nvidia as it's not possible to have 340.xx and 304.xx installed at the same time so both can't be supported out of the box on LibreELEC. You do have the option of building yourself though.
Here's a build with the 304.xx legacy drivers. It's my community build so has a ton of stuff that you might not want.
