If you want a minimum of 4 GB of ram, you will have to look at an s905x2, s905x3 and s922. Currently the s905x3 is not compatible with any distro of * Elec.

One question, the G12 devices, also includes s905x2? Since in libreelec's build it is like that. Sorry for bothering

What model of TV box ? What is DTB ? I checked on VIM1 VIM2 to make a copy and the installation work correctly. I found a problem with recovery (the process does not complete).

Have you tried the nightly build of LE ?

Yes, the build with the night of yesterday:

    https://yadi.sk/d/dhepyyrcterlf/leia-18/kernel_5.x/20190709/s905x2

and now I'm testing with the build here, but the same thing happens.

    None, take the network

Edit: Can it be by the ethernet modulator? Its modulator is an SG24002G

Edit2: insert the photo of the ethernet chip (realtek rRTL8211F) and its modulator (SG24002)

    Try all DTB options g12*.

I've tried all of them, and none of them work with ethernet. Including the odroid n2 that uses the same ethernet chipset.

P.D: The tests are done with the build LibreELEC-AMLG12.arm-9.80-devel-20190709172241-893dd58-s905x2.img.gz with the different dtb in the device_tree directory(both g12a * and g12b *), modifying the unev.ini file. . What more data can you use to facilitate the work?

Edit: I upload the dtb of android stock, taken out by amlogic tools.

Tested build LibreELEC-AMLG12.arm-9.80-devel-20190708135005-f20db18-s905x2.img.gz on tanix tx5 max. DTB: meson-g12a-x96-max.dtb

    Wifi and Bluetooth: RTL8822 (FN-LINK 6222B-SRB)
Ethernet: RTL8211F (I think the same as the Odroid N2)

    Config Remote: attached file.

    Results:

    - Boots

    - Working remote with your configuration

    - Audio HDMI working

    - Ethernet not working, it does not get ip from the dhpc and even if you put the ip manually it does not work. (When the dhcp is on ethernet, take an ip 169.254.167.*. As seen in the photo I attached)

    - HEVC crahes (known issue)

    - No WiFi and bluetooth

In case it helps, this is what the dmesg throws at me( (referring to the ethernet)):

    Code
    1. LibreELEC:~ # dmesg | grep eth0
    2. [ 18.761478] meson8b-dwmac ff3f0000.ethernet eth0: No Safety Features support found

    4. [ 22.825523] meson8b-dwmac ff3f0000.ethernet eth0: Link is Up - 1Gbps/Full - flow control off

I don't know WTF is going on with the content of images if people are booting G12 hardware on a GX image.. but to make any progress on creating a device tree for the N5 someone needs to pop the case open and explain which WiFi and Ethernet chip(s) are in the box, and whether it uses internal or external PHY?

It is what was in the s905x2 directory, as you can see in your directory. That day nothing was released for s905 *. https://yadi.sk/d/dhepyyrcterlf/leia-18/kernel_5.x/20190524/s905x2

I'll let you know if you can open the box, to see what wifi and Ethernet are applied.

An acquaintance has tried a TR99 with s905x2 (2gb)and this has been commented to me.

    DTB used meson-g12a-u200

    Remote: Ok
    Boot: Ok

    Wifi No

Ethernet: OK, but he had to enter the ip manually
    Thermostat CPU: No
    Bluetooth: No

    Addons: Ok

    Video X264: OK

    Sound: OK

When the box is turned off, then it can not be turned on with the remote. Making you unplug it and plug it back in to turn it on.

In the build of today (20190510_test_dvb) the wifi already works in both bands(2,4Ghz and 5Ghz). But not the bluetooth

These builds will continue using the GPU the proprietary drivers or the lima drivers? I'm asking, because the other day I tried it on an amlogic s905x and the truth is that it's already quite good.
