Whoops typo. I meant to write 1450.
Is there an addon that you can configure an overclock via / change the config.txt? A bit like you can do in OSMC?

Thanks for the explanation. Another bit of bed time reading
Never overclocked an RPi before but the general consensus seems that there is a fair bit of room for performance gains. How can you overclock via LE 7.0.2 from a noobs perspective? What is the method? Thank you.
Yes, no point spending hundreds for the sake of it. Especially when my fleet of RPi3's do what I need them to do. Will hang on for a few months.
This is no current solution for my needs really is there. Stick with RPi3 then for a few months?
And just to confirm we are good with 4K / h265 with your spec? Literally about to hit the buy button!
Thanks very much for the quick update.
Glad to see my OSMC remote works properly now! Can anyone feedback on the RPi3 onboard wifi changes?
Drop the relevant .tar file in your devices update folder. Simple as that.
Yes I was reading earlier about some of NUC negatives. There doesn't seem to be a standout winner at the moment. Perhaps stick with my RPi3 a bit longer.
I think I may go for the scan NUC then, what basic remote do you recommend? It has IR included doesn't it?
Will it run LE independently directly off the 128gb SSD?
Couldn't runoff a built in SSD?

What about this? What remote could be used with it?
Great news, thanks as always
A saw a Dev say back in May that something was due but who knows.
A see a couple of small fixes via github that will make my life a little bit easier so just wondering if there was a 7.0.2 on the horizon?
Thanks for all your advice, much appreciated.
The Intel NUC route looks likely to set me back about £300+ which is too much for me at the moment. My attentions have turned to the Wetek Hub - about to be released. Again, it claims to run on Android but again it will run LE shandalone rather than side loaded?
Do they run LE natively (as in a standalone OS) using the generic LE builds?
Looking to upgrade my Raspberry Pi 3. What I'm looking for is 4K support, inbuilt (and good performing) wifi ac/5G, remote with built in IR in box. At least 16gb flash/ssd and at least 2GB ram and can run LibreELEC as a standalone OS. Around the £200 mark?
