So, I got my box set up last night.
- Accessing my network share of Movies and TV shows seems to work well
- Installing the addons I want seemed to work
- Updating some settings
I'll give it another few days, but my question is:
When I decide to install to NAND, does it copy across all the changes I've made (network locations, configuration, addons) or do I have to set them all up again?
Also - is there a reason we can't get the Estuary skin?
Is that embedded in Kodi 17 or something?

Apparently my box a S905 , not S905X
I'll try it from the SD for a couple of days.
I need to get some addons working...
Is is possible to change the skin? (The only choice I have is the default Confluence)

brypie For S905X start with not replacing a device tree. Simply "burn" downloaded image to SD card using Rufus. Your box booting to recovery means that it refuses to boot from SD card for some reason.

Hi all,
I'm new to this, but I would like to set my android box running with LE so that it boots straight to Kodi.
I don't use any of the other Android stuff on the box, so am happy to go with Kodi only.
I've had some experience of Openelec on a rPi before, so know my way around boot images and recoveries...
I've tried to follow the instructions on this thread:
- Downloaded the image
- Downloaded the tree
- Extracted the image to SD
- Renamed and overwrote the tree with the downloaded one
- Inserted card into box
- Tried the reset method
- Tried the Backup and Update app method
Both methods result in a failure during recovery:

The box that I have: Sunvell T95M 2GB + 8GB
Am I doing something obviously stupid??
