there have been users on this forum ( zed85 ) claiming they don't experience the same issue, which is why I believe there has to be a solution that does not include trashing the whole thing

I'm running 8.2.2.3 from SD card on H96 Pro Plus. Using the remote.conf I posted before. No troubles with powering up or shutting down the device.

Can you power on the box with the remotes? I have the same box and remotes, but I can not power on the box.

I also want the power button of the mx3 remote to do nothing, because sometimes my son press that button by accident and than the box powers off. I have tried everything but maybe it is just not possible...

Yes powering on and shutting down works. Running 8.2.2.3 from SD card.

    Hello dear people,

At the moment I'm running Libreelec 8.2.3.1 on my Beelink Mini MX S905.

I'm thinking about stepping over to 8.90.3. Are there any 'need-to-know-about' bugs except the ones mentioned in the opening post 'known issues and important notes' ?

I don't use the box for live tv. Only use it for watching some video-files and a few live-streams.

Thank you in advance for all the development!!

Thank you everybody for testing. The "slow" device trees have been added to main folder, the installation guide and to auto-update for future builds.

    Hi Kszaq,

When I install 8.2.2.3 to internal memory on my H96 Pro Plus (S912) after a few boots I get the:

"libreelec Formatting SYSTEM partition...The file /dev/system does not exist and no size was specified"...

    error.

After that error I cannot boot Libreelec from internal on my H96 Pro Plus (S912) anymore.

Is this also caused by a 'slow' emmc/internal memory?

Thank you for all your hard work!

My H96 Pro Plus was auto updated to 8.2.2.2 and 8.2.2.3 from 8.2.2.1a but now auto frame rate wont go lower then 50 Hz. On 8.2.2.1a it would go down to 23.98 and 24 Hz. In Setting/System Display Refresh Rate I also see only 50.00 59.94 and 60.00. What is wrong and is there a fix? Powering everything down and up wirh H96 latest doesn't help. On 8.2.2.1a all refresh rates were shown from 23.98 to 60. Can I get 8.2.2.1a somewhere and install it?

Dikkie, are you running 8.2.2.3 from internal memory or SD on your H96 Pro Plus?

After a few days, I'm running into boot issues after installing to internal memory on my H96 Pro Plus.

No. I installed it last night on SD card only mainly out of curiosity. Everything I tested worked fine. Since I wasn't really missing anything, I guess I will stick with 8.2.x.x for the time being.

Ok. I'm running 8.2.2.3 on one device from internal memory (S905 - Beelink Mini MX) and on one device from SD (S912 - H96 Pro Plus).

Beelink Mini MX with 8.2.2.3. running great, no problems.

H96 Pro Plus with 8.2.2.3. also running great from SD because installing to internal memory causes problems.

Waiting for the moment to step over to a good Leila build.

zed85: Thanks. Sorry to be a pain but could you please confirm whether you run it from SD card or internal? There must be SOMETHING different about our setups other than the remote.conf file :( Could the original device firmware play any role in this? My box is the 4K 'branded' H96 Pro+ as per your picture, 3/32GB version from geekbuying. Just to be sure - when you power the device off does it shutdown or go to standby (the red led)? For me, the standby option - which was the default in Android - is greyed out in LE so I can't even try if the remote would at least wake it from there.

Running from SD card now. When I use installtointernal to install Libreelec on internal memory from H96 Pro Plus, I can boot from internal a few times... The next day I get a system error.

zed85: can you please confirm which LE version are you using because for me, with 8.2.2.3. from kszaq running from SC card, your remote.conf does not power the box on using the red button :( I have tried all 3 conf files from this thread with the same result, both for the original remote and the MX3 backlit version

Yes I'm running 8.2.2.3 on the H96 Pro Plus. The given remotes work.

Can you power on the box with the remotes? I have the same box and remotes, but I can not power on the box.

I also want the power button of the mx3 remote to do nothing, because sometimes my son press that button by accident and than the box powers off. I have tried everything but maybe it is just not possible...

Yes with this remote.conf I can. With both remotes.
