addon version 117
LE: 9.1.501
Raspberry Pi 4
Connection: Wifi
Yes, Spotify premium
Is wifi stable?
The output of 'journalctl -u service.librespot' should provide more information about your problem.
You could also try 'user mode' in addon settings, with Spotify username and password, in case the problem lies with avahi.
The problem I am having is that my Android device/phone is recognizing Librespot but keeps stucking at "connecting".
Switching from the phone to the PC works without any issues.
The same issue appears at the PC. I can easily switch from the PC to the phone but not the Kodi/Librespot.
Any idea?
I do not experience this issue with my Android phone. Please provide more details: addon version, LibreELEC version, hardware info, wifi/ethernet, Spotify premium?
I can not find the Librespot addon for my Rpi4 with libreelec.
The plug in is not in the libreelec repo.
It should be there.
Check for updates in addon manager
Install the .Net Core Runtime addon from the LibreELEC addons repository. Invoke .Net with the le_dotnet command.
Are there any quality concerns if played over Kodi, compared to earlier options? What are thr pros and cons of each?
LibreELEC is an operating system for Kodi, where Kodi may have exclusive use of audio. This can be an issue when other software, such as Librespot and game emulators, access audio.
Streaming Librespot audio to Kodi via the PulseAudio backend of Librespot prevents competion for audio resources, requires no configuration from the user, provides comparable audio quality, and does not require code for handling multiple audio backends.
Librespot updated 5 five days ago (to version 117), but I'm still experiencing errant playback...
I'm running LibreElec 9.1.002 Alpha on a Raspbery Pi 1: am I the only one experiencing this?
It could be that Rasberry Pi 1 is not powerful enough for the Pulse Audio backend.
Therefore revert to an earlier version of Librespot that also provides the ALSA backend on Rasperry Pi 1.
Current Librespot for LibreELEC releases exclusively play via Kodi, because this works out of the box without interfering with Kodi audio. Unfortunately, this requires more computer resources.
Ok thanks, I'll wait till 9.2 is released before I mess about setting it all up.
Thanks.
Emby updates do not break configuration
hi.
Will the emby4 addon be getting updated in the repo as i have just installed it and when logging into dashboard it tells me a update is available.
Thanks
Rob
LibreELEC 9.2 ships the latest stable release of Emby 4 (4.2.1.0). LibreELEC 9.0 ships a slightly earlier release, which will unlikely be updated.
I will provide code to update Emby 4 to a user specified version, probably late next week.

Please reformulate your post accordingly, here seems appropriate.
I do not have W10 to test.
Iridium gave it a try and reports the following :
"Only errors when "Picture Quality" is set to automatic. Changing to "High" or "Low", the error message does not appear and seems to work as expected."
Does anybody here have an idea regarding this thread?
Librespot + LibreELEC 9.1.002 -> Change Playback audio device
From LibreELEC 9.2 on, Librespot only plays via Kodi, via pulseaudio.
Hello.
How to change bitrate? Default is 160 as i guess. I can see a bunch of start options here but how to use that? Options · librespot-org/librespot Wiki · GitHub
You can set bitrate in the librespot.start script.
I forgot to set it to 320 in the latest release and I will do shortly.
Hi! I just updated from LibreELEC 9.0.2 to 9.1.002 ALPHA on my RaspberryPi 1 and Librespot updated with it.
The problem is that now Librespot struggles to play music: what before was always smooth sound now is chops and pauses ...I can also see that now the CPU is almost at ninety-something percent all the time while playing music with Librespot...does anybody experienced this?
Thanks!
P.D.
I've tried to go to the configuration of Librespot and now there's only one option left: "User mode"
With LibreELEC 9.2 Librespot only plays with Kodi. To keep earlier experience, remain with earlier versions of LibreELEC.
I noticed that openvpn.service tries to set Requires and After in Service rather than in Unit.
Requires and After are therefore ignored.
I submitted a pull request to fix.
Hi. Just received my rpi4 2gb and installed latest libreelec on it.
I have very laggish stuttering movie playback and also interface have some vsync problems - so much horizontal lines when animation appeared.
Only 700mb films works OK. 12-16GB Bdrips files works like on pentium 3.
How to fix movie lags and turn vsync on?
