Hi Raybuntu. I ran this build on my with 4GB and it worked! I had some problems where it would become unresponsive after playing some shows but I was able to ssh into the box and reboot. What is the difference between this build and the Rock64 build if you don't mind me asking?

Because I m planning to buy this andriod tv player and I also want to run this build to watch movies (720p 1080p and UHD) through my external usb hdd. Is this player good for watching uhd movies in andriod 7.1.2 based kodi (As I heard that there is no hardware acceleration available for andriod 7.1.2)

Why should i change subtitle settings ?
because of tv viewing distance, some people changes subtitles size setting (just like me 36, colour cyan and font bold italic).
Subtitle font, color and size = default
that’s main the reason, because of default setting there is no stuttering. If someone mess with subtitles settings in krpton then subtitles stuttering appears.
Confirm - 100% of my english videos have external(.srt) subtitles and playing fine on my S905X boxes - last video watched yesterday
I have a S912 running LE 8.2 - will do some tests later - S912 is currently rarely used
Tim_Taylor, I also encounter minor stuttering in beginning of the movie (only first line of the subtitles) in my nexbox S905X but after that no stuttering visible. Kindly mention your subtitles font, size and colour?
I feel for you bro, but I really don't encounter subtitle stuttering on our S905X boxes. 99 percent of the movies we watch have external .srt and it plays fine. I don't have S912 to test.

I've been using kszaq's S905X Krypton builds, and all of them are/have been silky smooth.
I've tried both Krypton and Leia builds for the S912 and still have the stutter from srt subs appearing.
I will keep an eye out as I have one of the suspected "dodgy" eMMC Mecools (I've installed to internal, and 3 or 4 updates later it's still going strong........ so far), which I'd like to upgrade from to the S912 permanently.
Being my first post, I'd also like to say a big thanks to all the Amlogic dev team for making this rocking little box sing - Cheers gents!

I have a little problem with installtointernal script.
My X96 and X96 mini box original android system partition is 1,5 and 2GB, before I run the script i backup all android partition (dtb, boot, recovery, system) with dd command.
Install to internal script must twice run, because after first run, starting LE from SD card, the system and partition can not be mounted and LE is not starting from NAND.
After second installtointernal script the partitions resized and LE run from NAND perfect.
My question is can i my backup restore to nand with dd command?
what is build name for x96 mini S905W and also link the device tree for S905W? Advance thanks
