I have a95x andriod box but my remote is working sluggish/slow in 8.90.6 build. kinldy share the A95X Nexbox S905X remote configure files (including 70-input-repeat.rules). Advance thanks and Regards.

I would rather if people did not upload the old releases as they also require the matching dtb, problems can't be solved if everyone is using different versions, what may work on 1 version may not work on another and If you think there may be a problem with the latest release I would rather know about it so I can try and fix it.
If you don't understand the settings then just leave them at default, this is what causes problems.

Trying to remain on topic, the main change from .5 to .6 was changing from kszaqs nougat kernel to the LE nougat kernel.
The LE nougat kernel is based on a newer codebase than kszaqs.
This is what is mostly responsible for audio/video changes.
Changes to deinterlacing and/or noise reduction settings can improve or deteriorate your video quality depending on the CPU in your box.
Both kernels have advantages and disadvantages, kszaqs kernel has been in use for a long time and is very stable but has some minor issues, some of those issues are fixed in the LE kernel but then others have been introduced.
There is no 1 perfect solution and unfortunately due to the past policy by the LE team to keep S905/S912 seperate from official LE a lot of work that was done on kszaqs kernel has been wasted, it would have been better if everything had been contributed to LE at the time it was commited.
Things have changed with Leia and S905/S912 code is now a part of LE but it will take time to get a release as great as kszaqs have been.

Pelican, I m using ur custom based 7.0 ( LibreELEC-S905.arm-7.0-devel-20170430185848-r23797-g7772046.tar) build (HDR based) because I don't use any other build like 8 and 9 series because of subtitles stuttering issue, thanks once again for your great build. What is difference between 7.0 k nougat based build (video picture quality) and 8.90.6 (video picture quality) sharpness, Deteils and colours etc? Sorry for bad English.

If I use 2.4GHz UKB - 500 - RF Mini Wireless Keyboard Mouse In latest build 8.90.6 (just plug dongle into USB port and remote is ready to use) and remote is ready to use or also have to configure this remote just like default andriod box remote? I m also uploading the photo because I m going to purchase this wireless remote/keyboard, because I don’t have specific skills to add default nexbox’s infrared remote config file/follow the procedure. That’s why I m purchasing. Sorry for bad English. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

I noticed that too with my 905x, but not only the first Subtitle. It appeare randomly , ca. every 20th Sub, both types, SRT in MKV or SUP embedded in m2ts/Blu-ray Structur.
use 7 series libreelec “ k“version ( Nougat based) for watching movies.

Do you use samba or SSH ?
If using samba, just create a text file in the appropriate folder with a right click and edit with your prefered editor.
if using ssh, type this command:

- copy the file "a95x.txt" to "/storage/.config/rc_keymaps/"
- create "rc_maps.cfg" into "/storage/.config/" and write "meson-ir * a95x.txt" in it (without quotes)
I advice you tu use both boot2k3's xml files
Once finished, reboot your box.

I m eagerly waited Kszaq based 9.0 plus version because I am not programmer just simple user I can’t understand keymap based method to work my nexbox remote that’s why I also can’t use and test adamG’s 8.94 ( because of no remote). My last tested build was 8.93 which is best. I m going back to 8.2.

There is no LE 7 for S912....
I'm still using LE7 on my M8S II, but not this, but a Dev version with all the HDR stuff backported.
Pelican, kindly share the dev version with community because I m using also kszaq made version which is nougat based kernal but no hdr? I am fond of this build because no subtitle stuttering are there.
