By software I hope it will be optimized, since only one core is actually used...

Ok, I have to test the settings better.
Thanks for explanation…
P.S.
After testing some vídeos with this function on and off, there is really a difference in image quality, i had already commented on another topic that felt some difference in image quality compared to another source playing the same vídeo file and now i see where did that come from...

There are more things to be improved.
Youtube only 1080p, does not support VP9 4K.
Is very strange, any 20€ amlogic S905 runs without problems...

After updating my Pi4 and from the little I saw I don't notice any issues improvement already reported in the fórum.
I hope that in the near future Raspberry Pi will make the necessary leap for the kernel upgrade.
Anyway thanks...

Yes, I hope you're right.
Thanks...

Ok, thanks for the explanations.
I came from an htpc with intel and nvidia, although it was old everything worked fine, now I made the leap to the RPI4 for size, consumption and hardware compatible with h265 and even menu navigation is not fluid, another thing that I also think is not very good is the image quality, compared to another source reading the same video file and the same image settings.
I think I made the wrong purchase...

Newbie Question, sorry.
Why complete logs, do not have private information that is available to the whole community?
-
And the power supply is the original?
Power supply is very important when it comes to hardware failures.

I use network cable connection, but I tested the 5G wifi and it works.
If you use Band steering and you get both 2.4G / 5G networks with the same name, you have to make both connections and then Pi4 chooses 5G.

Ok,
but you're right anyway, most receivers do not support 4:2:2 transmissions, be they in mpeg2 or 4.

Yes this is sat feed, some I can watch directly on the satellite receiver, others not like this.
I have to use the pc for this through streaming.
I have to keep seeing the same way.
Thanks...
-
The idea was not need to go to the computer to see those files that are captured by satellite receiver, but don't play them.
So I will have to continue watching through the pc.
Thanks...

I’ve still got screen tearing in the menu’s.
Hope this will be fixed in the next update.
I have this problem too…
