I Installed LibreElec on my Probox2 Ex+ .
Everything is going relatively fine as long as I use wired internet connection.
When going to WiFi - it works for 5 seconds and then is gone -- appears as connected but nothing works (related to the internet) and very often the system is stuck and I have to reboot.

I don't think thats even been used by our soc's bootloader

Demetris, further info, the WiFi works in balbes150 LibreELEC-S812.M8S.arm-8.0.2 firmware. Although with that firmware I am getting system crashes so it is not a solution.

I have loaded the latest 8.02b 8x2 arm m8 onto my Matricom Q2. Everything seems OK except the WiFi. I get no WiFi networks showing up. I believe the chipset is Broadcom 5G 802.11 Dual Band Via AP6330. In previous posts Based on some previous I thought this was fixed but it does not seem to be.

you check as i don't have that box. disassemble the oem boot image and give me the clean dts file to check wifi gpios for your board.
Some S802 boxes can only boot from USB, capability depends from the bootloader
New v.8.0.2b is out due to some boxes freezing issue.
Boot with your sdcard then transfer update to right folder and reboot
New images are being prepared v8.0.2b.
Then i will start some experiments soon for those guys boxes i said i will.

You have to config the kernel, there is an extra element in the command line. If it is clear, the system will run on any medium. By the way, the initialization file is already desired setting.

By the way, You can use one image for all versions, they are perfectly combined (they have indexes to select dtb data, nearly all different, so do not interfere with each other when running).

I have tested to compine before but i faced lan issues from 1gb vs 100Mbit

I have tried booting with the same image from a USB stick but the M8S didn't detect the USB and skipped to android boot.
Is there any clue/solution for making this box (ENY M8S) boot from an SD card wit Demetris images ?
I use an S812 bootloader for my S82 box and boots ok for me.

I've updated to your LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2a-X8H-PLUS.tar on my Minix x8h plus, and I've also had the same power-on,suspend issues.
Tried also a few other updates from others, but for now I'm using LibreELEC-Amlogic.arm-M8SPlus-8.0.2.tar from Index of /image/LE8/arm/8.0.2 - and that works just fine. Powers off, reboots, suspends just fine.
Really liked that your image thus had wifi recognized and bluetooth too!

For power on & suspend issue go fetch and flash from your manufacturer the newest bootloader i can do nothing about it!
Please use S82 image that works for your M8S 100% with 2gb ram!
M8S users try LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2a-MXIII-1G.img.gz install it. I've got M8S (2GB/8GB, Fast ethernet, AP6330)
I success with that version. It works great! But the little problems are impossible power on/suspend, only 1GB recognized ram.
But I solove it using TV's USB port x3 for M8S power. When I turn of TV, TV supply 5V to M8S

DO you know if this supports 4K?
I am seeing strange behavior when I switch to 4K res (3840 x 2160), the picture goes up to the top left.
The same behavior happens when I leave the kodi interface @ 1080p resolution, and I play a 4K file. The picture goes small to the top left.
I have tried with the Xonfluence skin and the stock Estuary skin - same issue.
I have attached photos of the issue. Have you seen this before?
As a note - when I run Kodi Krypton in the original Android ROM, on the same device, the 840 x 2160 resolution is not available to choose on the kodi interface. But when I play 4K movies, they play perfectly.

I will release a new version for all devices soon and no MX3-G doesnt support full 4k as hdmi port is only v1.4 and for that you need v2.0 as S905/12 has but these soc (S802/12) is way more powerful than any S905.
