Can confirm that hw acceleration now works with recent milhouse (LE9) build.
Problem is, i cant get audio to work with version 3 (neither with default nor with custom settings) - with version 2 audio worked for me with custom audio device and hdmi:CARD=PCH.

Can confirm, that with an older version of milhouse and Xorg (tested with 407), hardware acceleration is working for me with intel kaby lake.

I've experienced similar problems with my NUC7i3BNH, Harmony Hub (MCE device profile).
For me, it seems jumping from bios version 52 to 61 caused this behaviour.

I am facing similiar problems with actual x86 Milhouse Build.
After hard reseting my system and bringing it back to same status level as before, everythings working like a charm but i couldnt get my imon vfd back to life.
Installed lcdprog (selected imon) and xbmclcdprog (like i did it before many times) but my vfd still stays completely black (as it worked before hard reset with milhouse builds, it doesnt seemed to be a compatibility problem with kodi 18a1?!)

......but on my AMD-System (HD 6670) there is sometimes heavy tearing and stuttering.......Just for Info for AMD-User:
After disabling "hardware accelerated video decode" in chrome://flags, tearing and stuttering is gone (testbuild chromium 55xx). -
chromium needs to be updated, however HW accell seems to be broken in the new version.
For those that want a test build there is one here, browser.chromium-8.0.104.zip
This will only work on the latest Alpha (7.90.008)

For me everything basically works (especially Amazon Video), but on my AMD-System (HD 6670) there is sometimes heavy tearing and stuttering and on my BayTrial NUC the perfomance seems not be be powerfully enough(?), cause there is quiet more stuttering and it isnt really possible to watch a Amazon Video...
With new versions of chromium it will not be possible anymore to get hw acceleration like somebody mentioned in german kodinerds forum?! ---> Widevine Technologies - Getting Started (only SW_SECURE_DECODE (L3) )
