    Hi,

I tried to run that version through USB (using toothpick method) on MXQ Pro 4k.

Wifi, and everything is okey. But when I try to play live TV channels, it's working like 10-20 seconds and then it all freeze (no video - black screen) and writing "Working..." in right down corner.
Or, after start of box when I play channel it's working normal, but when I change to another channel it also start just writing notification "Working..." in right down corner, so I can't move.

    Any help there? :)

    Welcome as a first posting.

I hope you researched and read:
    LibreELEC

Read the 2 pages because i think this may be your issue and this bug is solved. ;)

kostaman: are you using K1 Plus ?

My Box is the MiniM8sPro and Tested on A95X S905 1g/8g
Both Worked using SSH using a FULLY WORKING SD Card Install.
I dont have the K1 but check device trees. device_trees
Realtek Fix Device Trees 1g or 2g ram 100 or 1Gigabit ethernet. to fix wifi.
I run simple HDMI to TV so no audio issues noticed so far.
Hope that is what you're asking for ?

One more thing: I used device tree for A95X (gxbb_p200_nexbox_a95x.dtb) which I can't seem to find anymore at device_trees . Maybe one of the files in the directory is the same and just the name is different, but it would be good to clarify this for other owners of A95X going the LE way...

The A95X i have tested DOES get hot with Android ESPECIALLY WITH WIFI ON.
It gets into the high 60c. Are you using wifi with LE .006 or .007 ? If you use your box with WIFI and .006 or .007
your box will un hook wifi immediately it is called upon to stream anything and then freeze.
The device tree you speak about is the one that causes this wifi disconnection hence it has been removed and replaced with gxbb_p200_1G_100M_RealtekWiFi.dtb .
Installing the updated device tree and SSH to install LE to Nand Internal has turned this box into a half decent piece of NEXBOX crap.
It runs cooler and is usable. The Crap UBOOT for "power on" is something people have to live with.
    Hope this makes sense.

I have it working on SD but haven't tried with new device tree for the fix for wifi. I also have a MAC. What's the worse that can happen if I mess it up because that sounds very confusing I've never ssh before.....

What is that s805 at the bottom of your post ?
Make sure you are using correct chip.
Exactly what box are you using ?

If you are on a Mac it is the easiest.

It is not confusing. You Must have a working SD Card LE Install. No If's or Maybe's. It has to be working including WIFI.

If your Mac and Box are on the SAME HOME NETWORK using terminal application to issue commands to your box is easy.

You are basically issuing commands to access the box first then you are issuing commands to write the LE version from your SD Card to Internal memory. That is all you are doing.

Working SD Card version first please.

Let me know if you need more help.

How do you install ssh way??

Recommended way: run LE from SD card first. If it runs fine, connect to your box over SSH, execute installtointernal command and follow on-screen instructions. This command wipes SYSTEM and DATA partition!
Make sure SD card LE all works.

Whilst running LE go to System information and copy your ip address for your box example 192.168.0.29
Open Terminal Application on a Mac (Sorry i dont use Windows PC) and type
ssh [email protected] hit enter the password is libreelec and follow the prompts

ssh login is root password: libreelec

005 works but 006 and 007 have issues with the wireless on my Nexbox A95x. Boots fine and seems to get a wireless connection but eventually will only show one wireless connection in networks and wont connect to anything.
Used the dtb file from the download site for A95x

    gxbb_p200_1G_100M_RealtekWiFi.dtb

Replace device tree with the one in link above.
Note : If you are running LE from Nand Internal Memory i have had freezing on boot logo using the realtek wifi dtb.
even though it works for SD Card install.

EDIT: Using toothpick method froze on boot up logo using device tree that worked with SD Card install.

Using SSH Method WORKED Perfectly. So go figure.
I have no idea what the BUG using Toothpick method to install LE to Nand Internal Memory.
Especially using Device Tree that works with SD card install.

What do you means by U-Boot.Bin firmware ? Is it recovery.img, found on Android SD for example or something else ?

You need the Factory Android Firmware from your supplier or if someone at the forum with the same box can point you to the firmware link.
Generally the supplier will have it uploaded somewhere in the cloud and you download the rar and unpack it.
Un packed they generally have the version of Amlogic Bootmaker tool along with the firmware.
You have to Make the U-Boot with the tool and then transfer the files to SD AFTER THAT.
Insert sd card , Toothpick recovery and then Fresh Install happens.
Sorry about the quick cut down instructions. Google Amlogic Bootmaker tool and you will get what i mean.
With the firmware i have described i have never not been able to bring a 64bit S905 back to life.
    Hope this helps.

kostaman  willyfan I uploaded updated device trees to downloads folder. As your devices have 2GB RAM, please try gxbb_p200_2G_100M_RealtekWiFi.dtb

To be clear: if you run from SD card, it is enough to download the device tree, rename it to dtb.img and copy to your SD card. No toothpick magic necessary.

The thread i started re wifi has been marked Solved.
It is solved for SD card Installation
    But not for NAND .

NAND Installation is a Freeze using the same device tree that fixed SD Card Install.

    My Summary

Sorry I'm not sure how this works as far as it being marked as solved ?

I think you might have to change "I strongly recommend trying running this release from SD card/USB drive before installing to internal memory!" To "Do not install to internal memory unless you have factory Android Firmware U-Boot.Bin to recover in case of Device Tree causing freeze on Boot up Logo."
I just tried gxbb_p200_2G_100M_RealtekWiFi.dtb for Nand Install and it froze on Boot up logo.
That same device tree works perfect for SD card install.
I have the Factory firmware so i got box back to Android.
    Just a suggestion before disasters.

Even better Next time you buy a Box NEXBOX. means DONT BUY.
I have one of these boxes which was given to me to flash LE and it is an issue.
I have asked for U-BootBin firmware and it was like i was asking for their credit card details.
Rude couldn't give a damn. This company just rushes out to release the newest chips for the cheapest price
With whatever software boots up the box and then who cares.

    MiniM8sPro 2G/8G SD Card Install .

    Hi guys

Given the issues I have had i have reverted back to version 002 and have managed to get this loaded at the first time of asking.....however, the remote does not work, so please could someone advise where i find the remote file for a T95N Mini MX+ and where do i need to put it to hopefully get things working....many thanks.

Please supply your box specs as these boxes use same names.
    1gb/8gb or 2gb / 8gb ?

Are you running SD card or Nand ?
    SMB into your box
    Now please download remote.conf MEGA
Copy it and paste it to your config folder/directory
REBOOT your box and let me know.

@ kostaman: My KII pro have 4 SIDE USB ports and no USB ports back. In your post you speak about BACK USB port, but I don't have it in my box. But your box is different.
I tried all USB port, and only one don't work (with new device tree). With old device tree, used for 006 build, the USB working is only one and is the USB that don't work with new device tree.

It is OK i am just making kszaq aware of the port failure from .006 to .007 on my box as well.
Edit: I have not tried .006 on my box with the k2_pro tree.
Edit : Just tried .006 k2_pro tree Side USB port not recognised.
My box has only 2 usb ports.
    Sorry about the confusion. :D

Installed on KII pro: no problem for upgrade, but now only one USB ( I have 4 USB) is working!! With 006 all 4 USB was working. I tried with hard disk and with a keyboard, always only one USB work.
I don't changed my device tree because you wrote "this is not needed if everything worked for you at 7.0.2.006", it's correct?
Now I go for downgrade at 006.

Confirming i used the K2_Pro device tree SD card for MiniM8sPro which fixed wifi shutting down and lost 1 of 2 USB ports

I can do a fresh install of android and do a fresh sd .007 if you believe there will be a different result ?

    MiniM8s Pro 2g/8g

I have now gone fresh install Android and Fresh SD Card .007

k2 pro Device tree used as k1_plus Freezes on bootup logo.
    Clean install sd card .007
I have Lost SIDE USB port. Back USB port works
I have working wifi and ran speedtest add-on 3 times SUCCESSFULLY
Streamed movies high def 5 minutes cached 78mb and climbing. WORKS
    Ethernet WORKS
    Total Memory 1819
    Free Memory 1554
Well done kszaq and thanks to ididmytime for feedback on your testing. Thanks Smilez also for
    feedback.
This is now fixed for SD Card Install except for one USB Port no longer recognised.

All Fixed Please see link : LibreELEC
