can some one point me in direction of instructions for setting up a "Beelink S905 Mini MXIII with 16 GB eMMC and 2 GB RAM" with the best image and which device tree etc and what size sd card should i use and is a faster sd card better.

I have to set audio offset to 0.150s ahead for all video playback to get sync.
This includes Live Streams and Movies on my Network Library.
I have dedicated this box to Krypton Development Testing but at this stage of progress i know it is a long way from stable.

It has updated to 7.0.2.7 However I still have no remote control and I havent got the android software to get the "remote.conf" file. Does anyone have a copy they could let me have or supply a link. Thanks for all your help.
Try this one. Unzip and put the remote.conf file in config folder and reboot.
fatjanhushi kostaman I have uploaded a .tar file with an update. Can you try using that one to update?

It looks like the update wasn't successful at all. Can you try once again, this time without putting a device tree in Update folder
I think the screenshot will help explain what happens during the update.

kostaman Can you take a look at Kodi System Info screen? What Kodi version is shown there?

Rebooted and the normal update sequence on screen notification and box rebooted.
I looked at the version in LE and it was still 20161029000130 version (see screenshot). I did it CAREFULLY again with same result.
I did notice during the unpacking notification on screen updating that it showed

Is there a chance there is a mixup in files or something wrong my end.
Then i set Settings/System/Audio->Output configuration to fixed, clicks/pops gone.
I tried this in settings but this did not fix issue on my boxes.
Just try update from 009 to previous version of LE - 005. Everything goes well but after rebooting there is only logo Nexbox
Did you downgrade to LE .005 using the device tree from .005 as well.
Sounds like you didn't. That is a device tree symptom.

Wifi Chip for your box is unconfirmed Broadcom Ap6335
I would read the #1 and update to the latest. Find and test device trees.
Use the ones developed for 2gb / 1Gbit
Read Caution on OP. If you have a device with non-standard partition layout and have LE installed to internal memory, you have to perform a clean install.
Some clicks/pops can appear when no audio is playing.
Confirmed this is happening on MiniMx S905 2g/16g & Nexbox A95x S905

There is one thing in my to-do list: compile ethernet driver as module while keeping MAC address from u-boot working and this might help your issue. You need to give me a few days, I'm a busy man recently (non-LE related).
kszaq I just want to issue feedback from my issue way back #181 using the MiniMx 2gb / 16gb whereby my ethernet was not being recognised on a cold boot.

I know it is a long time ago but i just realised as i move this box from room to room and it hooks up ethernet every time even when un plugged from power.

Correct. I have seen confusion with these boxes. I have no idea what to call my box as others call them Beelink MiniMx g because of the 2g/16g. I think naming the Beelink box would eliminate the confusion with these boxes. Not using Beelink for the un branded box is also a good idea. I pointed to the Device trees from 14th October. Dev. (device_trees) as i wasn't sure of the box.
Also why didnt you just flash 008 instead when flashing from recovery?

This is a known issue when upgrading from 007, MXIII had a non standard partition on 007 which kszaq corrected on 008.
That explains why i didn't have an issue when i jumped from .007 to DEV Build 18th October and tree .008 14th 0ctober
Thank you. I can't see the box on the network and i allready tried a fresh install, but i guess because the NAND install the box tries to boot from the Nad and there is my corrupt devicetree, so i'm in kind of a boot loop.
Do you have a Beelink branded Mxiii or black no branded box ?
If it is the un branded just black box with no Beelink written on it use the following.
Original Device tree from link 5 below. And a recovery image from my cloud account.
These files should get you into recovery via toothpick method with the files on an sd card.
Once this is done pull sd card out and install LE ON SD CARD VERSION. (choose update from sd card)
Then you can test and use installtointernal command.

Known issues:
If you use S905X device with TV without HDR support the screen will be darker than normal on boot. It goes back to normal after you start/stop a video.

I'm not convinced 1gb ram with s905 is a good choice. It has been an up hill battle keeping memory leaks under control.
It's a known issue with Kodi Devs and Amlogic x64 . I can't understand why an extra 1gb of cheap ram is an issue when releasing a Quality product.
I get no lock ups or freezes with my 2gb boxes. Always have over 1gb of memory available , even after heavy use and left on for days.
