Before 8.2.2.2 if your device did not have MAC address burnt into the board, it would either use a random MAC address or one of default ones: co:ff:ee:00:01:9f or 00:15:18:01:81:31.
I see. Mine was using 00:15:18:01:81:31 so the mystery is solved

I must have had a one off issue with the MAC address change.
I noticed the change of MAC address to 2C:30:33:93:30:6C from the working one 44:2C:05:5F:35:46
That 2C:30:33:93:30:6C address caused no network data to pass through to the box.
I rebooted and 44:2C:05:5F:35:46 came back and has stayed the same after 10 reboots.
I don't know what that was all about but it seems it was a one off.

I noticed that the MAC address of the box had changed and my router did not recognize the new one. As a result, the router blocked all internet traffic.
Never had such problems before or problems with random MAC addresses.
I'll second that. I never use wifi but test to feedback. I just noticed the same issue.

I however had issues with 5GHZ not showing up with 8.2.2.1 Link #2,156
Box boots with no connection, change no settings, reboot, has WiFi connection again.
I've powered off , Rebooted a total of 10 times to make sure.
No connection losses. It connects to 5ghz every time.
My TX7 has 5.8GHZ ac protocol which my router transmits.
Not sure of your hardware or router settings?
It should fix it, I looked at what channels were available in builds pre-8.2.2.1 and they are back in 8.2.2.2

Because i use ethernet i did not check wireless until today when i checked the changelog.
Unfortunately my 5ghz wifi network has disappeared with 8.2.2.1
I downgraded to 8.2.1.2 and my 5ghz wifi network reappeared.
I did some googling on Australia channels but got nowhere in my limited understanding of what the EU difference is.
I did not play with settings in my router to try solve this as i await your thoughts.

Strange I have update notification to but it will not update automatically
You must have updates set to Manual in LE Settings.
Change it to Auto. Reboot. Wait for the notification to read Downloaded LE update. Reboot again.
Everyone needs to remember this is LE9 which is not even in Alpha stage yet,

Fresh install on SD Card Boot if you want to experiment. If you don't have Android FW handy for your box don't install these builds.

Mate you've been told about the add-ons you have tried migrating are pirate banned add-ons.
You're making nothing but noise here.
Clean install and then post a full debug log if you still have issues.
