Remove Pirate Addons and you should be good to go.
Easy as Hard Reset in Libreelec.
Your box is full of them.

TX5 the same as the TX5 Pro
No idea about TX5.
I have a TX5 Pro and it works perfectly well with LE.
By the way i believe the TX7 is going out of production.
In fact I've been told it's already out of production.

Do they use the same wifi chip? Will the TX5 wifi be supported?
TX5 came out with 2 different wifi modules

TX7 Nougat Android has a working adjust refresh rate using SPMC Jarvis and SPMC Development Krypton.
Using official Kodi Krypton it does not work. It's a mess.

I can Verify this image is Legitimate and it works.
No Chinese Hacked Kodi installed and no Bloatware.
Youtube 1080p and i haven't installed any apps from Playstore as yet. Too Busy.

You may have to go to [8.90.4] LibreELEC 9.0 Alpha for S905/S912 devices
Then ask members who have this Hardware. There was a Development build which worked for them.
I think it's been pulled off the server but members may have it for you to share.

You can use file manager.
Highlight your drive and hit Menu Button/ Choose remove.

It is simply not true. 4k HDR is working on LibreElec. Period.

My powered Hard drive is normally plugged into my TX7 and records my TVHeadend Recordings.
It is only 240GB storage size.
No issues with it being seen on the TX7 Box Running 8.2.3.1

These device trees are to be matched to your hardware.
The device trees are not a Chinese Restaurant Menu where you just try whatever sounds good.
