I too run a 2400G with DDR4-3200 and it works great. I am triple booting Windows 10, Libreelec and Kubuntu 18.10 all on their own hard drives and everything runs great on all 3 platforms.

Sweet just let me know and I will test.
I have been using Escalades build on my Apollo Lake setup for a while and he added the AMD stuff to one of his AVX builds for me to test a while back but I always just booted to a green screen.
-
Still the same thing. installer is not responsive, has the exact same line through the screen as above. I reinstalled one of Millhouses test builds and copied the new file in the update folder. Boots to the same Librelec logo with the lines through it and reboots after 20 or 30 seconds.
Edit: Is there any reason the installer is not responsive?

@gwilly you tested this build ?

yes this is the build I have tested. On Ubuntu I have had the best luck with the 4.17 kernel. I am currently running 4.17rc5, have not had to up update again yet.

Same thing for me still. The installer itslelf is still not functional. Still getting the lines through it and cannot select any options. Had to install another build 1st and off course xorg would not start but was able to drop the file in the update folder and reboot. It reads the file fine but hangs on the Libreelec screen still with the lines through it for 10 or 15 seconds and reboots.
I did disable CSM in the bios as well.

I was never able to go through the setup process to enable SSH. Also when I boot it hangs here for about 10 seconds and reboots

here is a link to my ubuntu dmesg log if it helps you
Also from ubuntu i can get the failed log off the usb stick if that helps too

Thank you very much for your build, I am really excited to get this working, but having an issue installing. Getting this across my screen on install. I have downloaded multiple times and used a few usb sticks.
I also tried to install another version of LE and dumped the file in the update folder, but when I restarted I got the same line across the Libreelec startup screen, then the system reboots. I am using a ryzen 2400G on an asus b350m-e. Any ideas? I currently have both Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04 installed. I am also going through a Denon X2300w to a Vizio P65-C1

Yes I am excited for this one. Thank you very much

I just want to thank you for the help you have provided while I have been using your build. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.

So it's not all about the kernel and it should work with 4.15 too.
EDIT:
Linux 4.17 To Enable AMDGPU DC By Default For All Supported GPUs - Phoronix
Yes I am using this parameter in /etc/default/grub. I have also added the 4.16 rc6 mainline kernel and still no hdmi audio passthrough with the newer kernel either. I am new to ubuntu though so I will keep trying.

Can you upload ubuntus dmesg log to pastebin and post it ?
Here is a google driver link
kernel_msgs.txt - Google Drive
was able to get 4k@60hz but not hdmi audio passthrough
-
Still no luck for me, xorg is still failing to even start with the newest build. I was however able to get the ubuntu 18.04 beta installed without issue, so I do have hope.

Download from here: raven_gpu_info.bin
Place in /storage/.config/firmware/amdgpu.
Thank you, I will give this a shot when I get home from work.

You might want to post this in Escalade's thread for his build.

going back to my j4205-itx as my main htpc so will have more time to play with this now and hopefully get it working correctly.

SSH service is aktivated?
No It was a fresh install so I did not get to go through the setup process. I guess I could set up on another computer then do the upgrade for that computer. I still have my J4205-itx as well.
