I am using latest build and works ok on my play2. Just install 8.90.4 build, update it with new devel + new dtb . If You do not know how then first start to read faq about update...

"Update 18.03.2018" Hi. This is my config for Wetek Play 2 remote with adjusted response / repeats speed thx boot2k3 & HiassofT

How to install:

1. Unpack archive and copy by sftp file "wetekplay2" to "/storage/.config/rc_keymaps"

2. Copy file "98-eventlircd.rules" to "/storage/.config/udev.rules.d/"

3. Copy file "70-input-repeat.rules" to "/storage/.config/udev.rules.d/"

4. Copy files "rc_maps.cfg" and "autostart.sh" to "/storage/.config/"

5. Copy file "gen.xml" to "/storage/.kodi/userdata/keymaps/"

6. Copy "Lircmap.xml" to "/storage/.kodi/userdata/"

7. Open pytty , connect with your box by ssh and write / paste this command: ir-keytable -a /storage/.config/rc_maps.cfg -s rc0

8. Reboot

Everything works good with WetekPlay2 device. I added my keymap (gen.xml) created in Keymap Editor app from Kodi repo. Buttons are adjusted under my preferences. So if You don't like just use this app and configure it under own...

Also I use ir-keytable -D 650 -P 100  for delays, you can test your own delays

And ir-ctl -t 35000 for release button delay

IR KEYTABLE delay is saved in "autostart.sh" file and IR CTL is in file "70-input-repeat.rules"

GDPR-2 , I think something wrong is with playing 4k channels on new build. When I open 4k channel on hotbird 13e and back to sd or hd channel my screen starts to blinking and disconnecting. Sometimes it happens when I just open 4k channel . I have access to Hotbird 4k1 and Fasion 4k (both FTA from hotbird 13e). On older build both works good with tvheadend 4.2

HiassofT , many many thanks. Now with this 50ms value my remote works like before Do I have to add this command in autostart.sh ? Or it will be remembered after reboot?

bubblegum57 , yes I know. I tested many configurations with repeats and adjusted it little bit . Now is better but still not this same like in older build. I will have to get used to it.

boot2k3 , thx You made my day I added Lircmap with these 2 buttons and after reboot everything is ok and I can map all of them

Yes and also HOME button does not work Prevous with remote.conf file I could map all buttons in keymap editor app. And remote repeats is very bad now. Before it was working good . Now I adjusted it little bit but still sometimes "jumping"

Hello. Guys can anyone with wetek play2 device check one button (this big star called Favourites above TXT button). I do not know why but I can't map only this button in keymap editor app . I see scancode for this button, is added into my rc keymap file but still does not work and I do not know why.

Hi. Just put .tar file to .update directory with new .dtb for wp2 . I will upload my remote config when I will finish it because now some buttons does not work.

With Your older builds I was using only crazycat drivers and everyrhing was ok. In new devel wp2 driver/ wifi works but something is wrong with scanning muxes in tvh when we have enabled crazycat (hauppauge is ok)

GDPR-2, is possible to map all buttons from wp2 remote in keymap editor app? On older builds I was using remote.conf file and thanks to this I could customize all buttons from my wp2 remote. Now for some buttons it is impossible

GDPR-2 , I installed now new devel + new dtb on my wetek play 2 (sd card). Wifi works, adapters are visible in tvheadend with crazycat drivers selected but now is impossible to scan muxes on tvheadend (tested on tvh4.2 and 4.3 from LE repo) . If I press force scan in tvh webif options is nothing happens and in scan state is error

afl1 , with this driver still no wifi , no dvb tuner support for wp2 with crazycat. With default le driver wifi is ok but no dvb tuner

Yes I also tested this new dev build from today on my play2 and after enabled crazycat drivers wifi does not work and dvb tuner. When I enable le default driver wifi is ok but no adapters in tvh webif settings

afl1 , there will be maybe devel build available with it and latest changes or new build will be released soon?
