Good afternoon! Many thanks for the work done! Everything is great! Installed version 8.0.2c on Beelink G1 Ultimate (3 Gb ram). Everything works fine, even a blutooth headset is defined! There is only one problem - in the kodi menu, when navigating, it happens that you press up or down or enter several times, and the system seems to freeze and not react, and after about 30 seconds or a minute quickly performs all the actions that correspond to the pressed keys (for example : I flipped through the list of films by pressing the "down" button a few times, and then the system suddenly hung, and then a minute later It quickly moved the cursor down to the number of clicks I made with this hang. I would be very grateful to you for solving my problem. Thank you! Have a nice day!

    Possible faulty micro sd card?

OK guys, first off, thanks for all the hard work on LE - I love it!

Right, I'm having buffering issues with my IPTV but only on LE, not Android (I dual boot). My question is, is this because it's on an SD card? Would I have the same problem if I installed to nand? I'm reluctant to install and replace Android as it's nice to have both and 2, there's no guarantee this will fix it.

I'm using the latest release, TX5 Pro and a good, quality, class 10 SD card.

    TIA

are you sure you have the correct device tree? my beelink uses the realtek tree, in fact it turned out to be faster than android. If it doesn't work try another device tree.

Installing to NAND will make menu switching faster, but I don't think it will improve wifi

As far as I am aware, there is a backup addon which would need to go to an external usb or network. I think this backs up the database & everything, but can take some time. Under addons, there is the Libreelec configuration backup which again needs to go to an external location, but I think it only backs up the system configuration, but is quick.

But, LibreELEC is based on linux, so I don't see how it would work on the android version of kodi.

Or perhaps I don't quite understand you

Well I simply have my boot up LE8 SD card and set that up with the latest LE version I want to use and have it all set up with the add-ons I need and configuration settings (like international, display settings etc.). Once I am happy with it I installtointernal via ssh and then remove the SD card. Then for another box, assuming it is the same or compatible, I simply boot it up from the SD card and usign ssh installtointernal and say yes for copying across all the userdata too. I now only use Beelink MXIII II S905X boxes nowadays, though they need to installtointernal twice to set up memory allocation.

This works brilliantly and is easy to do. If I want to make changes in future before installtointernal cloning to another box, then I update the settings and/or LE version on the SD card first so my SD card is kept up to date all the time. Easy and no problem with any welcome screens etc. and box is ready to use as a clone or an updated clone of the last box. Secret is to keep the bootable SD card up to date with any needed changes of addons and settings whenever they may be needed.

Is there a command the equivalent of ""installtoexternal" ?

The reason I ask is that I keep a microsd card with the last version, but I don't keep it up to date, & if the NAND gets corrupted, I have an old backup.

I have tried the backup kodi addon, but it seems to take ages & when I have had to use it, it fails.

I have a Beelink MiniIII but I use

    Code
    gxbb_p200_2G_1Gbit_RealtekWiFi.dtb

There is a remote thread, read this it might help [8.0.2a] LibreELEC 8.0 for S905/S905X

So, you have downloaded the correct image, you have downloaded the correct device tree.

You then created the image using? (I use rufus) you then copied the device tree to the root of the sd card, renaming it to dtb.img

You then plugged in the microsd card, while holding the reset button, you plugged the power lead in, & release the reset button after a few seconds.

    Yes?

Hi guys, i hope you can help me.

    I own a OTTV box with a 905 chip.

I've installed 8.0.1c (2017-04-04) and everyting works good. When i try to install a newer build my partitions a broken and the System wont boot into kodi. Can you tell me what happend and what to do?

Try installing the newer image to a micro sd card, with the latest device tree. see if it runs from microsd

can some one point me to the list of "supported hardware" for a le8 - s905 with 2g/16g that is currently available to buy (would prefer a remote that has a stop button on it) or pm me info thanks.

i searched but i cant seem to find the page currently sorry for being a inconvenience.

    and kszaq awesome job

If you don't mind a bit of fiddling, if you get a Logitech remote eg 350, use the Pivos Xios from the logitech database, then create a remote conf.

there is a post about remotes & how to configure a remote conf

    thread-2754.html?highlight=pivos remote

Might be worth looking through this thread-4264.html?highlight=remote.conf

Logitech can control tv & 905 box, get a small ir usb receiver, or Phone app, like yatse for kodi details?id=org.leetzone.android.yatsewidgetfree&hl=en_GB then another app for the tv

No keyboard on logitech, so might not be ideal
