also, are you sure it is the hifi-shield+ or the hifi-shield2?

With the test build that chewitt linked

S802 doesn't have a h265 hw decoder so it has to decode it in software. I doubt it can do more that 720P h265 encoded material.

Yea it didn't create a new input device, so maybe it's just not possible with this card

What happens if you unmount them via

systemctl stop nameofmy.mount

Then check

systemctl status nameofmy.mount

Also, why are you mounting things in /var/media? Why not mount them into /storage/something???

Remove that file you created earlier in /storage/.config/modules-load.d

Then update to this build.

Then try loading the lirc_dev and lirc_zilog modules.

Then post another dmesg

dmesg | pastebinit

Yes that location is good

Then run

systemctl enable nameofmy.mount

for each one that you have, then they will automatically be mounted at boot.

the modules aren't present because we don't have them in our linux-amlogic kernel. I'll see if I can port the driver and make a test build.

so after some digging it looks like you may actually want to use the lirc_zilog kernel module, however, we do not include this right now. I can make you a test build with this kernel module included and hopefully we can continue.

udevadm info -q all -a /dev/lirc0 | pastebinit

The last one might not output anything

I don't see lirc running there at all.

I'll do some more digging and get you to run some commands for me
