Please post full error logs, don't post snippets. Use a service like pastebin for large logs.

Stick with Intel graphics if you just want a good HTPC. Or you can use a rpi3 if you want a good HTPC.
If you want to play games and other things you will need amd or nvidia however your HTPC experience will suffer.
-
most likely you will have to adjust the xorg.conf
good luck

We don't support piracy add-ons here.

We will not be allowing any other third party repos to our repo.
If you want to submit it to our repo feel free, however, you will be at the mercy of our release speed. So it may be best to do you rapid development separately and then submit it to our repo when it is more or less feature complete.

films typically need adjusting also if you use the video calibration settings. Again, not ideal.
Set you tv to "just scan", "16:9", "hd mode", or similar and disable overscan in config.txt and that is perfect.

Why not PR it to the repo or add the script to the tvheadend add-on?

Why "Libreelec" resolution switching? Doesnt this happen with kodi on other platforms too, I think I remember seeing the same settings under player>videos. Are we referring to the settings "automatically adjust refresh rate to match display" here or something else?
yea same thing. People just confuse libreelec for kodi

Is working, thanks for your work. I would add just a notification for the audio device switch.
Might be a good idea, thanks for the suggestion

just reboot. It should be working ok

I found the Configuration under Display in the settings when at expert level. Squeezed the left in by 40 (I assume pixels) and the right by 30 and its fine.
I'd avoid this. It should be used as a last resort.
Also changing your TV's input setting to "PC" fixes this on most TVs.
This is also a good suggestion

/storage/.kodi/addons
this folder isn't accessible via the samba shares.

What does it need to work on LE 8.0? i changed the 9.0 dependency but didn't work, does it has to do with packaging or the code?
What exactly didn't work? did kodi say the install failed? can you check the log?
-
subzero79 no, it will work for LE8.0
-
No. You have to enable it in the Kodi settings
