That's pretty much what I thought. What if I modified the file system resize script to only resize the storage partition and not delete+recreate it? Then any content I put there during compile wouldn't get lost. Are there any issues with that plan?
You will lose everything in /storage if you do a full system reset.

why not just use kodi's built in sftp?

You can either enable Kodi debug logging and it will record all input events or you can stop kodi and use evtest to show the input events in a ssh session

I will repeat what chewitt said. There Is no HDR support currently.
HDR isn't currently supported by the mainline linux kernel. When it is we will support it.

I use kodie for watching Movies and listeing music. There for my RPi1 is connected per HDMI to my TV Screen and per toslink hifiberry to my amplifiere. It would be great if kodi could give audio out on both ports at the same time. There use to be the Dual Audio Builds but not any more. Can someone Tell me what to do to make it work as i Need it??? Thanks
Why would you need dual audio for this setup?

It will switch when you connect and disconnect your bluetooth speaker

This has nothing to do with lirc

Does that mean that Raspberry users will have to deal with libCEC for a very long time?
I think that's bad news
yep

I'm not sure I understand the problem.
I think if you want to monitor dependencies of dependencies we are going to find ourselves going down the rabbit hole...
better to just do a clean build when enough has changed

Report the problem to Kodi. We simply consume their application.

use the bluetooth audio switcher add-on in the LibreELEC repo
-
the cec framework will only be enabled on the RPi if using the vc4 driver IIRC and we have no intention to switch to vc4 at the moment.
I am working on the Kodi integration for the cec framework however and hope to have it in kodi 18 as it can be used on other devices.

typically you would use a dtoverlay as long as the rtc is supported.
-
In the LibreELEC settings go to connections. Select the connection you are using and select "Edit". Then under the ipv4 options change from dhcp to manual. Then select save.
-
Enable the wait for network option in the LibreELEC settings

Label the hard drives properly and they will mount the same everytime.
