If there is nothing in the logs...
Maybe it is a hardware issue?
Overheating due to a defetive or dirty fan, gone RAM, PSU, a USB device.....
If you boot another OS (Windows, or a live linux) does it crash also?

Maybe the intel driver has a bug... Hard to figure it out.
Maybe someone with a nvidia video card can try this?
(I don't have one at the moment)
If it happens there too it is not a intel driver bug.

I guess this is more a Kodi than a Libreelec issue...
Maybe it is better open up a bug report there?
But, don't expect to much...

Do you have Internet connection on other devices?
I doubt that... In your routers config no gateway is set?
Have you tried to set IP, Network mask and gateway manually?

Hello Marcus!
Okay my systems are pure HTPCs nothing more than live TV music and video, no dual boot whatever. I am using the TVHClient on Android for watching tv on mobile devices and to program/delete/watch recordings . Due to the fact TVHeadend don't need to transcode anything, if you have a good player installed it is great!
Your welcome!

I have a 3700 (had a 3150 before) it realy depends on the deinterlacing and scaler which is set...
The 3700 (16EUs) is cappable of lancos3 and Motion Adaptive/comp deinterlacing. The 3150 (12EUs) stuggled there..
You can try vaapi bob as deinterlacing method and bilinear for upscaling that should work. Also HQ- Scaler >10℅ should be set. HD 1080i stutters on the 3155 for me if this is not set.
SD content looks not great but okay that way.
I only use a fixed framerate 1080p50 and sync to screen option set. Never tried 4k on the 3150 because HD wasn't smooth with high quality deinterlacer set.
24fps or 29.9fps videos are running pretty smooth also.
You can set deinterlacing method and upscaler when watching a video or live TV by bringing up the menu and clicking on the film wheel.

Hello Marcus!
For me it is working without any scripting (Power Button).
Set a recording timer in the epg (use a program which is 20 or 30 minutes or more in the future, depends on your pre-record setting).
Then shut the box off you should see a reminder that a program is set to be recorded.
Sometimes 1 or 2 reboots are required till the service runs after first install.
If you check rtc then the alarm should be set.

Hello Photogsy!
My system wakes up perfectly with LE8.01.
But only if HPET is dissabled in BIOS or in LE via autostart.sh. In OE 6 HPET was dissabled by Default in LE7/8 I had to do this manually.
Maybe a typo...
Should be /usr/bin/setwakeup.sh

April Fool's?
Hello Marcus!
Great!
I am using timers only with TVHeadend and tvh manager to boot up the system for a recording timer.

Hello!
There was a bug in Kodi 17 itself (LE8).
Kodi 17.1 (LE 8.0.1) solved this.
Take a look here

Creating two additional new threads with no additional useful information, just for getting attention?
If you want attention, you can get some.
I deleted both those threads, btw.
Klojum your friendly moderator? Not today...
The bug still exists on LE 8.01 so I created a new topic ( in the old LE 7.95.2 was mentioned and the pull request was closed on github).
I created one and it wasn't shown...
When I created the second there was a message that new posts have to be aproved by a mod....
That's why there were two...so it wasn't on purpose. Sorry for that.

Yep if you fast-forward the memory is getting filled up till the system crashes is still there?!
Any news on this issue?
I can confirm this.. switching to ARB shaders results in a pink/red picture like Tchammer has posted.
Intel CPU arch states 64 bit...
